I check for spoilers almost everyday too. It's like a shot of crack.

 

I think that came from that spoilerman dude. Not sure that's really reliable.

But I'm like you I look for stuff every day.

 

Just a reminder: No one sane working on the movie will come out with some major spoilers. Because their work contract will maybe expire in February, their commitment to keep the mouth shut until the release won't. Nor you can bring out any sensitive info about the company you work or worked for.

 

People do want to work on Episode VIII and IX.

 

I could see them going the direction of a corrupted rebellion.

 

Logic 101
LFL makes a movie that they don't want spoiled until Dec 2015.

They make non disclosure agreements with crew that expire in Feb 2015.

Sounds like BS to me.

 

Perhaps Driver is slipping to the dark side, and uses his rank to order the x-wings to attack, which Isaac then defies...

This whole trilogy is supposed to be about the nature of good and evil...

 

As expected, no posters or any stitch of TFA here at Disney.

Would've been nice to see some high res screen grabs of the teaser in the Star Tours gift shop.

I can say that there is A LOT of merchandise that was removed from the shops.

I did get some info on future plans for attractions though. There will be a speeder bike ride and the cantina from ANH is going to be put in.

So, in case anyone missed it, the current week's issue of 'Entertainment Weekly' has a sneak peek of a bunch of movies coming out in 2015. One of those movies is, you guessed it, The Force Awakens. The front cover of the magazine says that there are 'exclusive details' regarding The Force Awakens, but I'm not sure just how exclusive they are, because I haven't gotten a chance to read it myself. I know someone posted earlier on this thread about Andy Serkis debunking some rumors in this issue, but I'm not sure if that's all the new information this issue revealed. If you want to check it out yourself, here's what the cover of this week's issue looks like;

 

I like that idea a lot actually. Characters have to be hard hitting, and that is something that a Dark Side person would definitely do. Come to think of it, it also parallels the ANH situation where a great fighter pilot (Isaac/Han Solo) is able to knock a Sith's ship off course (Driver/Darth Vader)! *spine chills*

 

Yeah you can tell they are going out of their way to refer to the old trilogy, at least that's the impression the trailer gave. Just hope that's not reflective of the film as a whole. One of the things I loved about new Star Wars films was seeing what new ships, designs in general were going to be added. I appreciate they are trying to get us all nostalgic, but just hope they don't do that for the whole film.

Yeah, it was done before in EU. You know, that stuff with SPOILER Borsk Fey'lya (a now Legends Bothan, Chief of State) in Thrawn Trilogy.
And all that bureacratic stuff that Palpatine humorously hinted at.

With all this tying to old trilogy, funny enough, I had chat with my close friend and he was dissapointed by all those designs by McQuarrie.
He respects that guy and such, only rambled in sense like: ''So the new X-wings are McQuarrie??? What? That droid also? Man, why are they going retro instead of inventing new stuff like prequels for the older tech did.'' Just think that I will post a funny insight to a mind of regular fan.

Of course we die-hards are diying for seeing McQuarrie in live action!! It is also one of the things that keeps me interested in Rebels.

 

Interesting. To state that the rumors are way off base, COULD and probably does mean everything we think we know is completely wrong.

General speculation here seems that the consensus believe most of the following to be true.
1 Darth Plagius is the villain.
2 Finn is a good guy & runaway stormtrooper
3 Rey is a Solowalker
4 Driver is a sith wannabe
5 Kylo Ren is the apprentice.
6 Luke skywalker is in hiding.

I am sure I missed a bunch, but if NONE of the above is true, then what is left?

9 Han Solo will die
10 The red light sabre is an ancient weapon
