No mention of Rian on there or did I miss it? Maybe I didn't see it or he just isn't added to it yet since its partial?

SWCE1 veteran! Have been watching the live stream and I'm very glad I didn't go to it again, because I was tempted, but chose not to. It looks EXACTLY how I remembered it was in 2007, a giant toy collectors fair and packed crowds of bored, disappointed looking people wondering if the extortionate ticket prices really justified it all.

To recreate the feeling for free, go the the Star Wars section in your nearest Toys 'R Us with a large group of oversized friends and wander around aimlessly for a few hours while admiring the merchandise and toys without wanting to waste your cash on such poor quality overpriced tat.
    ;)

So SWCE is now over. I am disgusted how LFL and Disney treated SWCE as a warm-up event to Celebration Orlando next year, keeping back all the big news and secrets until then. It's deeply insulting to all those fans who have looked forward for ages, sometimes years, for this event, paying out large sums of money for travel, accomodation, tickets and merchandise to go to this Celebration and all they got was Rebels cartoon and Rogue One preview clips (both freely available on Youtube).

The next one in 2017 is the US yet again, and yes thats when Ep VIII is out. Its pretty obvious that LFL/Disney only cares about the US based Celebrations when you compare SW film release dates with US Celebration years.

Over the years , Celebration has been to:

    Japan (2008)
    Germany (2013)
    United Kingdom (2007 and 2016)
    US (1999 (Ep I), 2002 (Ep II), 2005 (Ep III), 2007, 2010, 2012, 2015 (Ep VII))

    ;)

I don't know, I don't think it's a conscience desicion to coincide the events in the USA with film releases. Since Disney took over Lucasfilm they are expanding the movie universe at a massive rate now (6 new films not to mention Rebels...etc) so now is the time to judge it. Think it's a little unfair to mention previous times after Episode III where Lucas was adamente there wouldn't be further films.

Plus we probably got just as much about Rogue One as we did about TFA last time around.

I went, enjoyed it immensely and Celebrated the Star Wars universe which I think it's what it's about and don't feel let down or disgusted as a paying customer. Althought I hoped for something I didn't expect reveals/spoilers on anything released 17months from now, especially Episode 8 which to be honest I'm not expecting to see anything about until this winter. Similar to the marketing campaign on TFA.

If VIII wasn't pushed back from May 2017 to December 2017 at the start of the year I'm sure we would have seen something (especially as this event would have been planed Months in advance) but it's only just wrapped days ago.

It was a fun event and I loved every second.

I'm glad they delayed episode 8 till December, it seems a suitable near end of the year movie to prepare for. I enjoyed the livestream access, I will hopefully get time to go near year.

I have kind of mixed feelings. I don't think the program was strong enough for three days and the revealing stuff was underwhelming. I mean, Ray Park on the main stage? And the future discussion panel was just like the extra material on the TFA bluray disc - people saying "what a wonderful experience this is / you, the fans are so great / Star Wars is all about family yada yada" for an hour is just not my idea of material for main events.

I think they blew it by announcing the wrist band system just a week before the show. I payed for a 3-day ticket 14 months ago and it's just not fair not letting everybody see what they want to see and payed for. But then again I got to attend the R1-panel without having a wristband, since I was one of the first to que for the next panel (cosplay) while streaming R1 on my Iphone and then the staff asked us if we wanted to get in to R1 because there were some empty seats. Good for us. The trailer had just a couple of new shots though and I gave away the poster to a kid since I didn't have the means to take care of it properly.

On the light side it was a nice atmosphere and apart from the limited stages and lack of information thereby I think it was arranged quite professionally. Good flow, helpful staff etc.
