    There's going to be another Jack Sparrow movie?! Probably a little more excited about this than I should be... not the best stuff but always entertaining.

    Just had this thought. With filming wrapped and everything in post-production, do you see them possibly starting to shoot Ep. IX before VIII even hits theaters?? Seems like there's plenty of opportunity there, and the release schedule of things means they pretty much would have to do that. Unless the Han Solo film would somehow interfere, but I don't really see why.

    Hype is going to be at an all time max next year if Ep. IX is shooting without Ep. VIII even being released!

    Not at all unlikely... Not sure how the OT worked, but wasn't some of Ep. III shot while Ep. II was being made? I at least remember hearing that they did the Owen / Beru sunset finale from Ep. III during Ep. II. I also heard that many of Bail Organa's scenes were done during Ep. II. But unfortunately, I have no source for any of this.

    I don't think Star Wars hype will ever be as big as it was pre-TFA. That's just my 2 cents though.

    I would say moving from May till December was a good move, it gives a year's hype to look forward involving spoilers & inevitable trailers, the may date for episode 9 may change in the future who knows.

    Ep vii had a long time leading up to production to get things ready vfx prepping etc , the new film has had less than a year so it will need longer post filming to complete I would guess.
