    But this is definitely not the case here. El País mentions only Fuerteventura, which is an island known tourist destnation. Also, it has no film studios that are capable of handling a production of this scope. If any production shoots on this area, it's about the location itself, not the facilities. Besides, Lucasfilm and Pinewood have a good track record - last three SW films were shot there. Pinewood right now is the biggest film studio in the world and if Lucasfilm decides to move anywhere, the only direction I see them going is China, where an enormous film-centered complex is currently being built, called Quingdao Movie Complex.

    KK's clarification does not entirely convince. I suspect that Han Solo is a much cooler abbreviation of his real name ('Dwight Hansolo' etc.)

    I think they will try to make this the Star Wars equivalent of Guardians of the Galaxy (70s vibe included)...

    Why people don't trust her and want to remain convinced that with this film Lucasfilm wabts to somehow ridicule Han Solo? This truly baffles me.

    If anything, they want to make the Han Solo film into a space western. KK told that's their plan and that is further supported by the font used for the "Red Cup" in this photo.

    Are Guardians a western? To some extent but it seems that Lucasfilm wants it to take it couple steps further.

    Guardians is my personal hope, that may be totally wrong. I do think this will be a less serious version of Star Wars though. HS is a fun character (unlike Luke) and Lando guarantees the 70s vibe.

    I think Bob Iger pretty much meant what he said, but KK didn't like the reaction. They won't ridicule HS, but he can't start the film as the fully evolved HS character. Otherwise where's the story arc?
