    With these two, I will say... All hail the red lenses! Out of curiosity, did anyone else get the sense that the lenses were too red in Rogue One? I'm glad they paid attention to that detail from A New Hope, but you only saw it in a couple scenes in there.

    I saved the same screenshots from my n-th viewing of R1 last night at home. I was here this morning to post them. I'm too late.

    Well, I was wondering the same yesterday night... :)
    One can see the red-red-red-lenses when Krennic comes to Mustafar visit Uncle Vader. One can verify the whole environment is very very red there : I think this is the reason why the lenses are so red.
    Later when we see Vader again as he comes to Scariff, his lenses are not so red.
    That red in Vader's lenses is very symbolic : it is the red from the lava, it is the red from Mustafar heart... It is the red who saw Anakin die and Vader raise. It is the red who led to the Sith Lord. Vader fully embodies Mustafar : Mustafar is red inside, because his blood is lava, and it's black outside because its skin is rock. So is Vader: red inside, hot and crossed by swirls of fire, and black outside, cold and threatening.



    Cole, if you actually draw that, hats off! Very well done.

    Their colour was definitely much more intense from the ones we saw in ANH, probably due to differences in kinds of plastic used to make them and different recording equipment and image postprocessing techniques - the way that movies are made right now is obviously different from how they used to do it in 1970's.
