A cover of a song that I think I've already posted in this thread:

I LOVE The Outfield(RIP John Spinks). I'm actually a big fan of there somewhat less popular "Voices of Babylon" album. Here's a great example:

These animated films really do have great tunes. My sister "swindled" me in to taking her and her family(my 4 y/o niece in particular) to see Frozen. I was not all gung-ho to see it, but it was great. It had a lot of laughs, wasn't too mushy, and the tunes were awesome.

A Southern California Punk supergroup. Brilliant band, not a prolific one. Their lead singer is also a Major League Baseball pitcher?

At least I've done a lot with my life...

    Great soundtrack!

This was not originally a soundtrack tune, but how many soundtracks has it been on? I think it could work really well in a Boba Fett SA movie.

That is an awesome tune! But I counter with this one which I think is his and Michelle Branch's best:

Such a powerful and moving song! Too bad a certain eastern European leader(not going to mention any names) is doing his best to undo all the "glasnost" that was done in the '90s.

I want to place it at the top of the all-time SW list. but it does earn a very distinguished place at #4.
    1. John Williams SW Themes(no surprie at all here)
    2. Cantina song from ANH
    3. Cantina song from TFA.
    4. "We Didn't Start the [Star Wars] Fire".

They do. They remind me of the showtunes I grew up listening to at the community theatre with my Grandma and Grandpa. I'll always treasure these memories. Haha. Great sister and on you to go along! I'm glad you really ended up enjoying Frozen. It's a lovely little film with a great message. I love the song you picked to share. :)

Great one! ... How about a couple other all female bands:

Like how they are "Going Down to Liverpool" with Spock driving them in a bug in America? :)

And IMO, this is clearly the best tune from Luscious Jackson:

I had this the other way around initially ...

This one seems like a perfect candidate for "Snoke's Theme"

"You fill a party - to kill a party"

How about this one for "Kylo Ren's Theme"?

"Parthenogenesis" - or "non-sexual(reproductive) conception", like dear old grandad(and perhaps his "nemesis" Rey).

Static, white noise, overly-aggressive seagulls and distant traffic. Because it's infinitely better than listening to the crap in the entire Top 40....

TY to @A098 for reminding me. It's been 8 years since the too-early passing of the late and ever-so-great Michael Jackson. RIP MJ - you are SORELY missed.

    My personal favorite MJ video:

I'm a music lover the Nth power(and "N" is WAY more than squared or cubed). So I will be camping on this thread on Tuesdays and Thursdays discovering how much we SW fans have such great and diverse musical tastes. :)

For some of my favorites, going through the decades and then genres, I'll start with the 60's and 70's. And it has to start with James Brown for me:

I know the Beatles are the more talented, innovative, and creative band. But I always enjoyed the Monkee's music more. This is probably from growing up watching the reruns of the TV show in the early 80s.

But - speaking of the Beatles - I am however, a big Paul McCartney and Wings fan:

Of course, I also love John Lennon - who's political and philosophical beliefs I agree with just about 100%.

And of course, some of the standard 70s favorites:

The 7th is great - I am more of a fan of his 9th.
