    It may take a while to implement this - we have to find out how to learn who logged on yesterday (or at least posted something on the Anniversary) and how to then award them the trophy. Bear with us.

    I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I've noticed some forums and comment sections have a "summarise topic/thread" button that reduces a long thread to the most "liked" or informative/interesting posts.

    It can be a welcome tool for those late or new to a thread who don't want to read pages but want to get the gist.

    No ideas yet. Just wanted to say that I LOVE the layout! The breakdown for the different sub-forums and the visual organization are brilliant. Also the thumbnails used for each sub-form look like what I would make if I had made them myself!

    Honestly I gotta agree. Been here for a year & a half and it's easily my favorite forum to be. A good part of the reason why is the site layout and the less invasive darker colors. Everything feels right.

    Members shouldn’t be allowed to create threads without consent. They should make a suggestion to one of the Mods and Mods discuss if a particular thread is needed..TLJ threads starting to get on my nerves..much too many of them..threads for those who hate the movie or who love it or who feel mixed about it ..are you kidding me? and we don’t need separate threads for every single porg with no or one or two replies.

    That has been considered, but the purpose of the Cantina is for the fans. As moderators, we serve people here by making sure everything runs smoothly and people play along. We don't want to over-police things.
    While I understand your frustration with the abundance of threads, there are various reasons for it. As far the threads for people who didn't like TLJ, that gives people a place to vent without getting bombarded by those who did like it. Separate threads like that give people the most room to discuss the varies topics, thoughts, reactions and opinions of the film while still allowing a plethora of other things to be discussed.
    Nonetheless, we (the moderators) are pretty consistently merging, combing, or removing duplicate or repetitive threads.

    Well that's why you have to have 30 posts before creating threads so it hopefully given you time to see if the topic you want to comment on already exists.
    Also the Mods & staff do actually keep a eye out for threads that might be duplicating the same topic & then merger them if they think it's appropriate a good recent example would be we had several box office takings threads created Edith about how god otr bad the poster though TLJ was doing so they were merged into the official one.

    Someone did mention about the User interface maybe having different themes or templates to choose from, the darker background is fine but some suggested a lighter background, perhaps easier on the eyes. Just a suggestion passing it on.Otherwise great Forum with lots of feedback and friendly folks over here.
