    • The first word of the movie is "No"
    Well, okay then.
    • The movie has been described as "very different". What's so different? Rian Johnson's heavy use of flashbacks, not as a quick 'force vision' like in the Episode VII, but entire scenes flashing back to the past through Ben Solo's point of view. This doesn't sound too radical at first, but in practice it's very jarring. It doesn't feel like a Star Wars movie in some ways.
I find it likely that flashback sequences will be used, given the story that's going to be told; how else are we going to get Kylo's perspective? We certainly can't get it from Luke or Rey having a vision, that's for sure.

Honestly, wouldn't be surprised if it felt different from a Star Wars movie in some ways - this is Rian Johnson - but I highly doubt that flashback sequences are used to the point that it's jarring.

    • Kylo Ren/Ben Solo isn't the villain of this movie. He's more the main character and most of his story is told through flashbacks.
I wouldn't be too surprised by this either. Whilst many could argue that Luke, Leia and Han were the main characters in TESB, I think that an argument could be made for Vader being the one most implicated in the plot, his obsession with Luke instigating many of the events that occur through the film. Likewise, I expect Kylo to play a pivotal role in TLJ, and the more of him we get the better, in my opinion - whether he is redeemed or goes darker, having his perspective is imperative to any final battle to take place in VIII or IX.

Also worth mentioning that it's the events of II that start to turn Anakin down the path to the Dark Side; if this trilogy is the last in the Skywalker Saga - which I'm not against - then we could see some mirroring between II and VIII if this is what causes Kylo to begin to redeem himself (and play into George's love of circle theory).
    • This movie is full of plots and characters that mirror eachother, mostly regarding Kylo. The relationship between Rey and Luke versus the relationship between Ben/Kylo and Luke. The motherly relationship between Leia and Poe, versus the strained relationship between Leia and Ben/Kylo. The relationship between Kylo and Luke, and then between Snoke and Kylo. A big theme here is the nature of family. Is family a bond of blood, or something more?
    Sure. Again, why not?
    • Phasma kills Hux.
Certainly an interesting possibility, but another case of "why not?" I wouldn't be too surprised if someone decides to rough up Phasma after they find out that she lowered SKB's shields.
    • Harrison Ford is credited in The Last Jedi. Han shows up at two points, the first just a voice in Kylo's head (his last words from the previous movie), the second seen with Leia in a flashback (you see a quick glance of him and he says nothing)
    Meh.
    • After being injured on Crait, Rey wakes up in what appears to be a modest hut, being cared for by none other than Snoke. Not knowing who Snoke is, they have a conversation about the nature of life and the force. Snoke is wearing a modest brown robe and is very kindly to Rey - it's rather strange to see - and it's not until a later scene when Rey realizes she's not on a planetside hut, but rather on a First Order flagship.
Sounds a lot to me like the meeting between Ashitaka and Jiko in Studio Ghibli's masterpiece Princess Mononoke, where the hero is saved/tended to by a character that they will later find themselves against, with some deep conversation between the two. I'm all for this, but not too sure how I feel about it actually being done via the Force/hologram on a FO ship...
    • The trailer is very misleading. Luke never trains Rey, the shots you see of her 'training' while he watches on is her acting on her own, while he stands back refusing to be involved (even when she's almost killed by a sea monster). She stays pissed at Luke for most of the first half of the movie. Most of the dialogue in the trainer is not in the movie.
Not surprising at all, so I don't see why that could be in the film. As for most of the dialogue in the trailer it being in the movie, when walking off stage at SWCO this year, Mark Hamill and Kathleen Kennedy originally walked to the left (before joining everyone else on the right) of the stage, with Hamill commenting "I did lines for this trailer and I haven't even seen this footage" (47:30 of the below video).

    • There are no Knights of Ren. Kylo had followers when he destroyed the Devaron temple who he called 'the Knights of Ren' but they are all dead. Kylo being 'master of the Knights of Ren' is more of a rank than a practical title.
Eh, not too sure about the Devaron Temple part, but again, I wouldn't be too surprised if the KoR have been killed/sidelined considering that we're seeing the a similar group, the Praetorian Guards, introduced in this film.
    • The first Jedi temple has writings about the nature of the Force, and detailed the rise of the dark side (which gained in strength as the Jedi order grew). Luke has come to believe that Light casts a shadow, and so if the Jedi exists, their opposite too will exist. If the Jedi end, so too will the Dark Side, and the galaxy can choose its own destiny.
I mean, almost everyone's taken that from what we know of the film so far anyway, so nothing new here.

Honestly, these aren't big things, and I could see some of it turning out to be true. Overall, I probably have 65% confidence in what they've said (at most).

This latest one jibes heavily with the one you posted earlier. By themselves, each is just good speculation, but together, hmmm...

I don't suppose it would be possible to find out if they both came from the same person with different accounts?

Would file these under 'not completely asinine like the vast majority of leaks'

There's a chance they're right; I'd advise not reading either if you like reading the batshit insane theories but are also super spoiler sensitive. If you are, then read the others, but skip these.

The part where the person says,

"The trailer is very misleading. Luke never trains Rey, the shots you see of her 'training' while he watches on is her acting on her own, while he stands back refusing to be involved (even when she's almost killed by a sea monster). She stays pissed at Luke for most of the first half of the movie. Most of the dialogue in the trainer is not in the movie."

I think he got that from Mark Hamill who once stated"Just because you see Rey training doesn't mean Luke is training her."

Which could be plausible if the Island itself is a training ground and strong with the force.

The fakers just make **** up based on whatever the latest quotes and Mike Zeroh videos say.

And whenever a user name is written like a sentence, the probability that it's all the same person creating alts in the same style increases. I have a whole list of them over the past two years.

    Snoke IS NOT Plagueis.

Snokie is the one who Plagueis cared about, preventing Snokie-Poo from dying. That's the connection.

    You might be on something.

What if Snoke has been saved by Plagueis and sent to the confines of the unknown regions.

Been trying to find out if the last Jedi was tested since it is complete. While most posters on Reddit and other places are completely lying there might be a few thst have seen the film. Trying to establish a timeline of when it was done. If I find anything out I can share I will come back and do so.

Lucasfilm is not doing any test screenngs for the new Star Wars film in order to not let any plot details be spoiled by the test viewers.

this might be the case this go around. I know i havent heard anything from any of my friends in that industry. My guys have been focused on a couple of other super hero franchises as of late and not star wars, but we will see if they happen to know anything.

Did they do test screenings for TFA? I would be surprised if they were lax with their IP like this. Given their other secrecy protocols, it just seems test screenings aren't secure enough to risk. I imagine Disney/Lucasfilm has enough market research and creative staff to keep screenings in-house and still get the value, but I don't work in the industry.

Pablo Hidalgo claimed there were never any test screenings for TFA.

They showed cuts of the movie to VIPs like Ava DuVernay, Spielberg, Michael Arndt, John Lasseter, Disney executives, etc. for feedback.

Thank you! This is what I would've assumed for TFA, and assume for TLJ. There's really no need to dab in the public.
