Last night I went upstairs to my bedroom, weak and weary. The pain in my heart of the quandary that is the Baltimore Ravens had taken its toll on me. This is why, upon laying in my bed, I did not notice that I had left my bedroom window open.

Some time later I awoke in a fright. What was that? What had stolen away my slumber from me? I looked over to my clock and saw the time - it read "02:03". It must have been nothing, I told myself - but before I laid back down to sleep, I turned my head and at long last, I saw it. There, at the end of my bed, was a large Raven.

"Nick!", the Raven said. "I have come to tell you of the future glory and victory of the Baltimore Ravens."

"But Raven!" I shouted. "We are 4-5. Our offense is anemic, our play calling is horrendous, our quarterback has no confidence, and our offensive line struggles!"

"Calm yourself, young one, and hear of my prophecy. You march into Green Bay this week, and the curse of the destructive backup Quarterback will be broken! Hundley will be sacked five times, with two interceptions!" the Raven roared. "After that, it's off to Houston. Without Watson or Watt, you will crush the Texans into ground beef. Soon thereafter - you will face a challenge in Matthew Stafford - but after a tough and grueling game, you will come out victorious with yet another buzzer-beating field goal against the Lions by Justin Tucker!"

I gasped. "Raven, this sounds so glorious! Will we win all of our games?"

"Oh, no." the Raven said: "You will come into trouble after defeating the felines of the NFC North. You will march into Pittsburgh, but not to victory. Although the Ravens will fight gallantly, ultimately they will fall to the Steelers. With a career high 37 screen passes, Joe will finish with 41 completions for 115 yards."

"Such horrible news, Raven! Trouble me no more!" I yelled.

"Now, child - there is hope after the men in black-and-gold defeat you. Upon such a terrible loss, Commander Harbaugh shall march back into his war room and create a new strategy. He will decide to banish the one known as Mornhinweg to the land of former Ravens coordinators who don't become head coaches."

Alarmed, I asked the raven: "No, you can't possibly mean...?"

"Yes." the Raven said: "To Canada."

I shrieked.

"Fear not!" I was told. "For Harbaugh will send out his strongest horse with the best rider to call upon aid - and though it will take all day and night - our hero shall arrive to Baltimore the next day. He was once thought to be a savior to your people, but was given a calling too great to ignore. He will come back to save you in your darkest hour."

"Please tell me it is him, Raven, please tell me!"

"Yes, child. Gary Kubiak."

I nearly fainted from the delirium.

"Upon Kubiak's return, you will valiantly destroy the competition for the rest of the season! Finishing in the AFC a mighty 10-6. Securing the #5 Seed, you will head to the Arrowhead Stadium to fight the Chiefs. Victory shall be yours, but you shall not have much time to rest - for after this, the day will come to fight New England."

"Brady." I growled.

"Yes, young one. Tom Brady and the Patriots. The fights between the Patriots and the Ravens have always been that of legend, and this one shall be of no exception - but in the end it will be a game of utter triumph. Brady will throw two interceptions, including a pick-six. Alex Collins and Danny Woodhead will get rushing touchdowns, and Joe Flacco will throw for 357 yards and three touchdowns, two of which will be caught by Breshad Perriman."

"Perriman!?" I gasped. "He will finally come into his own?"

The raven paused. "...N-no. That part I lied about. He will be targeted four times, with two catches for negative six yards and two dropped passes. I apologize."

"It's okay, Raven!" I exclaimed. "Tell me more! I must hear of our victory!"

"The final two games will be spoken of for generations, but this is all I can tell you for now. Until next time..."
