I want to see Kanan fight Vader. with Vader searching for Jedi, Kanan is the only threat he has, in this time period. I don't see the whole OB1 having another encounter with Vader so is only fitting to see Kanan/Vader. In season 2 he didn't get that chance and you give Ezra a chance to swing at Vader? I feel the only person capable to measure close to Vader is Ahsoka and Kanan. maybe both of them, with kanan sacrificing himself for greater good. Ezra does know that OB1 is alive so he has to protect Ezra from being close to Vader just incase he wants to slip that thought into Vaders mind. We all know its not gonna happen but its a good story plot for Kanan/Ezra. Kanan doesn't know but I think to give the character closure it would benefit for us fans(hopefully) that Kanan meets OB1 and/or Yoda before he gets killed off. I just don't see them having Kanan just give up the Jedi way, like OB1 had a few chances on TCW. but its a Disney thing so happy endings are always there...

As much as I love seeing Vader in Rebels, I'm not sure I want Kanan to be a *threat* to him. Last time they met, the Rebels squad really got it handed to them by Vader. Having Kanan be a match for him, at least for me, lessens Vader's power and makes his presence in the films less threatening.

I'm not so sure Ezra nor Kanan are going to die anymore, doesn't seem like the way it's going to go. I would like to see them face Vader one last time though, two seasons without a duel is awful.

GL created Ahsoka -- as animation director of TCW, Filoni made contributions, but he didn't create the character. And using a character you've created (or co-created) doesn't make that character your "pet". It's natural to use characters you've invested a lot into.

I figure that if Vader is searching for remaining Jedis around the galaxy, he already knows of Kanan. He fought Ahsoka so that had a deeper meaning for Vader. There is no way you can have Vader in Rebels for the first 2 season in only 2-3 episodes. It was good to see his intentions but it wouldnt be a lesser match. blast, Ahsoka held her own. What lessen Vader to me was the scene in Rogue One. There was nobody even close to stopping him within that scene. It was just to added for suspense. I just dont see Vader role within Rebels and R1 stop from searching for Kanan and other remaining Jedi.

Ezra knows of OB1 and even tho i dont see Dave Filoni bridging the gap of the possibility of Vader finding out about OB1 within the series gap. Im not one for an OB1 film nor think that OB1 and Vader fought once more before ANH. So having the novel LOTS and adding Vader to Rebels would make alil sense within having basically "The Last Jedi" in Kanan for all Vader knows. there is so many ways you can end Rebels to where Disney doesnt show much death(which doesnt show many). So many routes for characters we can visually see to end their story in a sort of up note. Kinda like OB1 watching Luke in the Rebels episode. the way Dave put it was simple. if you only watch Rebels and not know about the whole SW we know who luke is. but from that seen you just know OB1 is watching him for what reason.

There has to be a major threat to Kanan since there is nobody as equal to him in Rebels. the brothers and sister is as equal? Kanan would have to end and i would rather see it in Rebels against Vader than wait til the series is over and read it in a novel.

ITs just me, the R1 scene wasnt thrilling but more funny to me. he goes from tearing apart simple people to really nothing in ANH. he should of just slaughtered everyone in ANH if he knew some damn droids had the plans.

My trust to Trawn is really gone if he doesn't hunt'em down. In Legends he was a mastermind who did things well. In this new Canon there has been so many fails made by him, although he should be a mastermind.

    Well, well well... ;)

I do have to say, while I think Kanan and Ezra were handled reasonably for this era, I'm curious what Ahsoka was doing between Malachor and her return on Lothal. I think she demonstrated well enough in the World Between Worlds that she sees her place as outside of certain conflicts, so I guess it's possible she'd have hid her status as a Jedi and not trained Luke, or some other explanation. I'd just like to know, eventually.
