Although it wasn't my favorite scene, I still want to give a big shout-out to Krennic's line "It's beautiful!"

Because it was beautiful. And it's conflicting.

It destroyed a city. Thousands of people died. It's a war crime. I wanted to feel disgusted.

But it was beautiful. Quite possibly the most beautiful cinematic explosion I've seen. It rivals Admiral Holdo's hyperspace jump into Snoke's ship for pure visual ecstasy.

I loved how two simple lines of dialog were able to convey so much. They sure as hell were politically incorrect but they were just as true.

    It was beautiful.

It was. When the DS fired on Krennic, Jyn & Cassian also.

I honestly think that best scene has got to be the end credits

Jyn Erso watching her dad's message. Up to this point, she has been mostly disconnected and unconcerned. She is bitter at what she has been dealt in life. She wants nothing to do with either side of this conflict really. She's just trying to make her way in the galaxy. But watching that message just breaks her. You can see it on her face and it's a great performance by Felicity Jones. Galen cracks her tough exterior wide open with a father's love for his daughter. She cares again now, more than anyhting, and wants to do her part not only to honor her father and restore his good name, but prevent enire planets from being destroyed.

I love these characters so much. Chirrut and Baze have a wonderful arc. So many great performances.

-Darth Vader at the end of the movie and Leia's appearance. It's a great link to A New Hope.
-The Battle of Scarif, both on the planet and in space. One of my favorite Star Wars battles together with the Battle of Endor and the Battle of Coruscant.

I'll take the Battle of Scarif any day over the Battle of Endor and twice on Sunday. Jyn's emotions whilst seeing her father's message was powerful but would've been way better if she had actually shed a few tears. It looked like she was going to but doesn't. Mads Mikkelsen was brilliant in that scene too.

    Obviously, the Vader scenes.
I loved the space battle over Scarif.
Probably a few more but those ones stand out to me the most.

I think I would go with anything Scarif or Jedha. But I love this film from frame one to the credits and cannot really argue against any scene. For me, it's the most solid of all SW.

I really liked the Krennic and Tarkin scenes. It shows just how Tarkin got to where he was as Grand Moff. He was so sly and underhanded. Brilliant character expansion :)

Is this the ONLY time in all of the Star Wars history that the Rebels outnumber the Empire in a battle? What, they have two Star Destroyers and the whole Rebel Fleet jumps in right next to them..!!!! OH YEAHHHHHH

This xD and yes, it's such a delight to watch the well coordinated and excuted battle on scarif and in space - I don't want to hate on Tros and TLJ but both really don't hold a candle to R1 when it comes to the final battle. In R1 one can really feel the tension building up and the stakes are high, those epic death scenes ...- what's going on at the beach is much as important than was going on in space.

I don't understand why the ST didn't show any space battles... And no, Kylo firing on a weaponless cruiser is not a space battle.

This is something what I really missed for the ST => awesome space battles. Everything was set up: Kylo is the grandson of the best pilot of the galaxy and then we had the best pilot in the Resistance, Poe. Why didn't we see them fight?

I think the Battle of D'Qar one of the most impressives space battles from the saga. And you can see Poe at his best!

I'm always forgetting about this battle. So, the ST does have a space battle!

But it's really lacking IMO. Especially if compared with the "Battle Of Endor", "Attack Run on the DS1" or even "Battle of Coruscant".

For me it's was too long and it focused on new characters who we don't have any connections with. Maybe Paige should have been Poe, then I would have cared about this death.
