    I am going to wager that Solo: A Star Wars Story will end up being merely the first installment of young Solo movies. I'm not saying trilogy yet, but I am saying that there will be another Solo film with Alden Ehrenreich.

    500 credits says Solo will get a sequel.

    by "another Solo film" do mean another film called Solo and/or spotlighting Han Solo as a lead ?
    or do you just mean Han Solo will show up in another Star Wars film altogether.

    Damn dude that's pretty dark! Hahaha no, I'm not trying to make some impossible bet.

    If I have to put a time frame on it, I'm saying the movie itself will happen in the next 3-4 years. Possibly taking the place of that mysterious 3rd "standalone" project. So, the announcement would likely be within the next year.

    Remember how we got an announcement for a new RJ trilogy weeks before TLJ? I don't quite expect that, but with an above-average reception to this film I could see TPTB saying, "Okay, let's do another." They still have 10 years in the canon timeline to work with, after all. Not saying they need to explore the entirety of that, but hey, it's there!

    I doubt it, they signed Felicity Jones to a three film movie deal, and her character is dead. Now Solo popping up in 9 via a flashback? Maybe. Like Ben Solo gets a Force vision similar to Rey or something.
