    Another wild speculation:

In the Infinity Gauntlet comic, Eternity itself (the embodiment of all that is) brings Thanos before the Living Tribunal to judge Thanos's claim to ultimate authority.

In phase 3, we got a couple hints of these characters, actually in back-to-back films. In Doctor Strange, Mordo speaks of the "Staff of the Living Tribunal." In Guardians Vol. 2, when *SPOILERS FOR GUARDIANS 2* Star-Lord learns of his dad's plan to become all that is, his eyes turn black and starry (much like Eternity from the comics) and he says "I see it--Eternity."

If you ask me, this is laying the groundwork for a scene between Thanos, Eternity and the Living Tribunal in an upcoming film.

If they're willing to go that cosmic.

I like the early "social media" comments/reviews of Infinity War, ALL of them caution us to avoid spoilers as there are a few nifty surprises embedded in the film.

I love all the anti-spoiler stuff they've been promoting. It's so fun.

Some initial reactions say the movie might be too full of stuff, but honestly, I would be a bit disappointed if it wasn't.

I just heard that FORBES spoiled the entire movie so, people, BE CAREFUL, don't read comments on YouTube videos, don't read tweets, stay away from Internet to stay spoiler-free. You know that trolls will spread those like wildfire!

The a$$holes did it for The Last Jedi as well. If I were Disney I would revoke their invitations to the future premieres.

When Forbes tries to cover nerd culture, it feels a lot like your lawn care guy giving you a haircut. The results are often not great.

Does he not realize he just armed so many ******* trolls with those spoilers? It doesn't matter if you put "spoiler warning" on the headline.

I think Infinity War has a unique challenge. On the one hand, it's the huge finale that EVERYONE will want to go see. On the other hand, because it's the finale, it probably requires more previous viewing than any other Marvel movie.

So if you're a movie critic who's not crazy about superheroes, even if you give good scores to things like The Dark Knight and Black Panther, and it's your job to watch new movies every week, what are the chances you'll remember what happened in Iron Man, or Guardians, that makes Infinity War so significant?

Well isn't Infinity War supposed to be like part 1 of 2? With 4 next year? But the critics "love it". It remains to be seen what the fan response is.

I'm just saying that for critics who don't care about superhero movies, this one might be a bit less enjoyable, because it comes with so much required previous viewing.

From what I'm seeing so far on Rotten Tomatoes, it's not gonna be the crossover hit that Black Panther was, where even the critics who don't care for superheroes jumped on board.

It seems like, for this one, the critics who don't like superheroes just don't like it. BUT the critics who care about superheroes LOVE it.

    Just seen...
It’s a pop corn movie not a masterpiece. Too many story lines... but things are not going to go the way you think... in the best possible way. I really enjoyed it.
It’s fun and shocking. But it didn’t feel like a middle
finger to people expectations or some huge twist for the sake of it.

There will be a lot to talk.

On a scale of 1-10 how "shocking"? How did you see it early, out of curiosity.

9 for me. The shock is real and my jaw rolled on the floor. You will not be disappointed. This is some ambitious film making. Thanos is AMAZING

Kind of off topic but still in line with Marvel. I have really stepped away from the Star Wars community since December and joined up with some MCU groups and I know one thing being apart of the Marvel fanbase is a whole lot more fun than Star Wars. They are for the most part unified in their love for this property. Star Wars especially recently has just become faction wars. Some people want this, other that, all have different ideas and heaven forbid they do not come to past. In Marvel if something does not happen that is expected it is usually celebrated or at least not met with a wave of negative responses just for being different right out the gate. Communicating with fellow Marvel fans leaves me happy and excited rather than stressed out and angry lol. Just something I have noticed.

    I'd say 9 too.
I was speachless at the end.
    I actually said WTF????

However, without giving too much away... all I can say is that overall it's fun.
There are a couple of dramatic scenes before the finale, that are good ones.
I felt the momentum. The building up, in the context of a popcorn movie, was good enough.

But beside that, to me there were few hints about some possible endgames for some of the characters.
I mean whoever wrote the script, used some tropes one uses to go into some very specific directions.
But especially in the finale that was not the case. However it didn't feel like something misleading.

It felt like the building up of something unexpected. Sounds like a contradiction but it's hard to explain it better
    without going into details.

That said, I'm not a big Marvel fan. My husband likes all this kind of stuff and thanx to that I know enough to waatch a movie
    like this and understand it.
But sure, I'm not particulary invested into them.
    Maybe that matters as well.

EDIT: How stupid I am.. there was a moment I realized something obvious... robert downey junior and benedict cumberbatch in the same scene... and I said "OMG it's sherlock plus sherlock" ;)

This is the pinnacle of Super Hero movies. If you love comic books. This is it.
