Anything in Legends You Hope to See in Canon?

I really, really, really, REALLY, want to see Thrawn on the big screen (I am aware of him being canon again) and the Old Republic.

 

I'm very interested to see what they do with Corellia in the Han Solo solo movie. Other than that, I'm not feeling particularly picky at the moment. Would be great to have Ossus re-canonized again, as well as Dromund Kaas.

Would rather have them pull ideas rather than full on characters. Would love a movie with similar themes as KOTOR 2. A shadow war between Jedi and Sith. I love the feeling that game gives off. No galactic spanning conflict just a small group playing cloak and dagger trying to wipe out the last remnants of the opposing side. Small scale and big stakes perfect mixture.

 

I REALLY Want Darth Malgus To Be Recanonized And For Disney To Retcon General Grievous’s Canon Origin And Replace It With Something Similar To His Legends Origin, Since I Think Him Losing His Loved One, Getting Blown Up, And Being Forced to Become A Cyborg Is WAY More Intresting Than Him Volentiring To Become A Cyborg

 

I have to totally agree i want to see Malgus in a live action film or in the new live action tv series. Anything Old Republic era too would be wonderful.

 

The Massassi. I don't neccessarily want their connection to the Sith (species or Dark Lords) to be canon, but I love the look of them.

 

I like to see a new version of the story of Celeste Morne and the Muur talisman. Always liked that storyline only the ending with Cade Skywalker I found a little underwhelming. He could cure the Ragkhoul plague and destroy the talisman in a blink of an eye, way to powerfull stuff if you compare it with the rest of the story

 

My favorite characters in my favorite series is Wedge and Janson and Tycho, and Rogue Squadron in general. I would flip my lid if there was a trilogy around Rogue Squadron and Wedge. It would be a dream come true.

 

That is the first person I thought of! Thrawn, done well of course, would be amazing.

It cant come to fruition now, but I wanted to see Luke's son Ben Yoda Skywalker on film. But I'll have to be chill with it being an alternate reality. Sucks but I actually think there is SOME benefit to them starting over the later stuff. Despite how attached I was to multiple characters.

 

I really want to see Other Space in canon. Like a republic ship going missing, and the Jedi investigation leading to Other Space.

Maybe I'm a bit biased or salty, but I honestly don't want them to "canonize" anything from the EU. I'm really not happy with the ST and what Disney has done. So the longer they ignore the EU, the better. I realize they've brought in some ideas, etc... But what I really DON'T want is for them to bring in the characters I love. Like thank god they didn't bring in Mara Jade.

 

I had almost 0 attachment to stuff from post RotJ, so what they did with stuff there, I don’t have too much of an opinion on. I’m mostly curious to see how they would approach the Jedi Civil War, and a possible Revan story. I was one that was really excited when I heard what the true Revan path was from Bioware, and would love to see that setting return and how they approach stuff from it. The Triumvirate, the war, wounds in the Force, etc.

 

I'd love live action Darth Bane, so much potential there.

 

I'm in the process of reading the first Darth Bane novel. I'm about 20% in and HOLY SMOKE! This book. This FREAKIN BOOK is so good. I'm torn between burning through this bad boy today and moving to book two or savoring it like a fine wine. Wow.
