I am baffled by the whole idea of “fatigue.” Ever since Solo’s underperformance at the box office, I have been at a loss of words as to why this could have happened. I am not buying the commonly-held notion that “2 Star Wars films within 5 months is too much.” We’re the types of people who beg “more!” two minutes after a movie trailer comes out.

On a side note, it’s going to get pretty exciting pretty fast, regarding television. I’m expecting details about Resistance to leak any day now, and Favrau’s show should be revealing casting before Fall.

Why isn't this thread on fire? I feel like a live action TV show could revolutionize Star Wars. The live action Tv show should also have a dedicated topic, just like Benioff and Weiss and Johnson trilogies.

I suspect things will light up when we have more information & a bit of imagery to work with... personally, I’m VERY eager for this series!!!

I'm not saying Favreau isn't talented, but people seem to forget Iron Man 2 which allot of people felt was somewhat mediocre, Cowboys & Aliens 44% RT rating, and my favorite Jon Favreau flick was Made 71% RT rating. Favreau made a cgi Jungle book( some say its better than the original) and it made allot of money($966m worldwide), so now he's doing Lion King the same way. Favreau is just recycling well known material into cgi extravaganzas. He is creating these new Star Wars shows from scratch so I'm not going to get excited until I see a preview or the first episode. I'm not taking anything away from Favreau however, Jungle Book and Lion King have been done before all he is doing is updating them with top of the line cgi.
