I really enjoy the game, my highest level was 78, but due to an Apple ID issue I had to start over. I made sure to make better decisions the second time around, especially since I knew what to expect and specifically work towards. I tried the Rancor Raid, that was particularly difficult.

I play the game almost everyday if possible, that and Star Wars: Commander.

Played for a while, but it just took up too much time and wasn't actually that fun. Also, so many whales/P2W in this game.

It’s the only game I have on my phone, but I don’t play it super often. I usually log in once a day so that I can get all my rewards and spend shards to get more characters, but I don’t actually take the time to sit down and play it more than a few times a week, and it’s usually while I’m laying in bed in the morning or at night.

It’s a decent game. There’s some really great things about it and some really frustrating things. It’s really difficult to not only get characters, but also increase how powerful they are, unless you’re willing to pay, which I’m not. A lot of my go-to characters are ones whose shards can be gotten just by playing the game, though—Rey (Jakku), Luke (Tatooine), Leia (Death Star), etc. I think you need to just have patience with it and be willing to have some sort of time and/or money commitment to it if you want to get anywhere.

I started playing last November. There are periods when I log in every day, do all the challenges and try to earn as much as possible. But there are also periods (like right now) when I don't care that much and even forget to log in for the daily reward. It's a great mobile game but OMG - the grind. It's crazy. Unless you pay, of course. I haven't paid, but I feel like I invested a lot of time and I still feel like I'm making baby steps. I only have two 7-star characters. But maybe it's just my poor strategy, who knows. ;)

A week after Solo came out, they added Enfys Nest to the game and
she's a light side character. Of course it makes sense, but that would be quite a spoiler if the character's documentation leaked. :)

I always thought that SW Galaxy of Heros was one of those generic crappy mobile game. But from the replies, I've seen. Its really changed my mind. Maybe I'll give it a go and see how it is.

    Hmmm...
I've been playing daily (without spending any cash) for a while now, I've got a squad that keeps me roughly around the 150 mark in the rankings, but I'm rapidly approaching a brick wall because the guild I'm in don't seem to do enough raids to earn me the stuff I need to gear anyone up past level VIII.
Anyone else stuck in the same rut?
I'm on level 85 now, and I've got about 10 seven-star characters with half-decent mods... but I can see me stalling if I don't get to gear anyone up higher soon...
All I seem to be doing at the moment is developing more characters up to level seven, while my main squad just stagnates...

I'm in a really good guild - Dantooine Nights - who raid very regularly and win territory wars and battles often. Unfortunately we're full at the moment but we do have a training guild called Troubal Cantina which is open, although it's really quiet at the moment, particularly because DN is full. You're welcome to come and try TC out and wait for a spot to open in DN. No promises, though.

Can you solo Rancor with your teams? At the very least if your current guild is collecting raids tickets through dailies you can push Rancor raids as soon as you collect enough tickets and get more gear that way.

Cool, I might check it out - thanks.
Basically I am in a guild which added me quite early on after I first unlocked Guilds, and I've just been bumbling along since then, misguidedly thinking it was only really useful for acquiring Guild and Guild Event store tokens.
I only just kind of realised - now that I'm at that level - that some gear is only available from raids.
I think the guild I'm in is comprised entirely of random people the leader has added who don't really play that often, because there is only the two of us contributing to the raids regularly now.

Does that mean take out all of the phases in one set of five attempts?
No, afraid it takes the two of us (and anyone else in the guild who bothers to chip in) several refreshes to complete raids... I'm just nowhere near that level yet. I guess I've been hanging on because I am always guaranteed to be at least second highest contributor in any raids we complete, which is probably the wrong attitude, because I presume it would be more beneficial to complete more raids more frequently but be lower down the pecking order.

Not necessarily with one team but it sounds like you're clearing Rancor whenever you can which is what I was wondering.

Anyhow, feel free to come on over, and happy gaming.

Just deinstalled it. I've been playing since Fall 2016, but finally i realized it is no longer fun to play for me, just mere "duty" and Routine. My Fingers are constantly itchy now

I agree 133AAEA2-8B30-42FD-B05F-E077F880DD81.jpeg I’ve never really like turn based combat anyway.

I just started a couple of months ago and already maxed level. The hardest part now is getting the credits and additional resources needed to level up characters need for the journey guides. That and unlocking characters needed for others, which is a small chore in itself. Still really enjoying it though!

Also - Bastila (Leader), Jedi Knight Anakin, Old Ben Kenobi, Grand Master Yoda, and Ahsoka Tano is downright evil.

Not an unstoppable team, but I've had a pretty easy time beating teams with higher gear and ability ranks, along with level, than mine.

I do! I am concerned that it does feel a little pay to win (not saying it necessarily is, but it feels that way sometimes as I will explain). I paid for a few packages some years back, and progressed until I hit a level cap. I couldn't level without redoing old missions. Then this past month, I noticed a "jump to level 85" package for sale for $100. I thought about getting it, but felt the price was a bit steep. You could buy several full fledged games on Steam and/or Android for that price.

    Alright, bit of advice needed...
I'm free-to-play, no aspirations of reaching the top of my shard, probably unlocked too many characters too soon anyway (didn't realise this could work against you)...
Basically... just wondering if anything is jumping out at anyone as being essential to gear up next, rather than waste the gear on a character who is not going to help out long term, if you get what I mean...

Just to explain a little more, I'm using a Jedi squad as my "main" team - Bastilla lead with Yoda, Hermit Yoda and Ezra with a Commander Luke thrown into the mix.
I know that's not going to deal with anything anywhere near the top, but I get extra protection from the lead, Yoda's buffs, assists from Hermit Yoda, Ezra and Bastilla's abilities and turn meter removal from Luke, who also does a decent amount of damage. Bit old school, I know, but does me for the time being in most situations.

My bounty hunters are fairly solid with a Bossk lead.
My Empire squad has a decent Vader, Palps and Thrawn but need to level up whoever else I add.

I got really lucky and unlocked Padme with a fairly average Geonosian squad, and likewise with 3PO using a unspectacular bunch of Ewoks.
I've also unlocked regular Han and Chewie but am finding it a real chore leveling up the bounty hunter ships just to unlock the classic Falcon.
Some of the other teams - Phoenix/First Order/Resistance - I've only taken as far as was necessary to unlock other things really.

So, I'm kind of at that point I probably need to focus on certain things.
Do I focus on adding relics to those who are already at that stage?
Is it worth bringing Palpatine, R2, Thrawn etc up to gear 13, seeing as how they are so close?
Should I focus on building up the characters in my default squad, or is it time to do something else (develop Han, Chewie and 3PO and build a better Rebel squad for instance)?
Is Padme worth developing even though my other Galactic Republic characters aren't so hot?
Am I at the stage I should be making sure I have a bunch of solid squads available for Championships?

So many options - I'm still enjoying playing the game, but feel I'm a little bit stuck in a rut...
