Realistic X-Wing Pilot Helmets from the OT

    Cantina friends, interested in if anyone has attempted to build, paint, decal, and "weather" (to simulate heavy use) a full size X-Wing Pilot helmet from the OT.

    I have seen plastic kits you can buy of the helmet and accessories (visor, boom microphone, interior padding) along with the decals. Wondering if anyone has purchased one of these and attempted to do a full build up including paint and weathering......there are several very good videos on youtube covering this.

    My ultimate goal would be to do Red Leader, Garven Dreis' helmet, here is one done very well:
