    welcome ! <3

i only took piccies of a few bits in there... they have huge scale depictions of the battle on Geonosis from AOTC, and Naboo from TPM as well as many other things.
nothing from the ST of note.. i'm guessing there's a lot more to come there.

also, on the way out there is a life sized Vader with his saber lit, and Luke's saber is kinda hanging in the air where you can go up and hold it.. and press the button to fire it up. an awesome picture opportunity... which i did not get as i didn't have anyone there to take the photo for me lol (but yes i went up and held Luke's Saber like a giddy child lol)

Ahhhh... I went there last September with my (then 9yr old) daughter - did I never post any of the pics? #fail

I took one of the trench run with the X-Wing lasers lit and another with that Death Star firing too. The Hoth diorama was probably my favourite of the lot - the only disappointing aspect was that the scale used meant no classic minifigs were used and as a result ROTS Anakin/Kenobi Mustafar fight characters just ended up reminding me of those shonky old 1970s Lego figures I hated so much in my youth! :D

One of the best recent dioramas I've seen was the Endor set-up at the London Film & Comic Con last month... the detail on the Ewok tree village and the underground Imperial base was immense!

BUMP! Here are the pics of the first wave of 2019 LEGO SW sets. I've never bought a Microfighters set before but that Dewback and the Escape Pod set looks really good!

I’m so glad to get a chance with the revival of Clone Wars to lay my hands on some of the vehicles from that area like the AT-AP and the Droid Gunship.

I wonder if the alleged drop in overall revenue is the reason for Lego creating the 'intermediate' sets like that new X-Wing Trench Run and TIE sets which are bigger than the Microfighter range, but smaller and less detailed that the minifig 'full size scaled' sets?

I hope they glue the pieces together because that would suck if all of that fell apart. Hence why I personally gave up building the OG Death Star II set. I was half way done and the set lost it balance and fell into pieces. I gave up on that after the amount of hrs I spent on it.

I don't know but it's definitely nice that kids from less affluent families will be able to get some classic ships to play around with like A-wing or TIE fighters.

It’s probably just so that they can test the waters to see how popular these Star Wars sets for young builders are. It’s a decent way to get young kids started on one of Lego’s biggest themes (all of their top sellers have had some Juniors sets in the past: City, Ninjago, DC, Marvel, Friends, etc.) It will also sell well with people who can’t afford the full-sized versions of these ships.

I’ll definitely pick up the Death Star Escape and the two battle packs. I might get the Droid Gunship and AT-AP if I can find a fantastic deal on them. I’m a bit more excited for The Lego Movie 2 and its sets to be honest. Yeah, yeah, I know what you’re all going to say:

For a moment I was puzzled too, but that’s it – easy-to-build sets for ages 4+. They had it already for other franchises like Marvel Heroes and Ninjago. A good move from my point of view. And of course much more affordable.

That was like over 6 years ago! Those pieces ended up being scattered and mixed in with other lego pieces that my older brother and I collected over the years when we were kids.
