    Meanwhile, Revenge of the Sith was a title everyone saw coming because it was opposite of Return of the Jedi...and it was just as vague as "Spark of Rebellion" which was used in SW Rebels.

    This Son of Darkness rumor is interesting because if true, that would be the second time Snoke said the movie title in his dialog to Kylo.

    If it was me, I would use a line from Luke. "Not the Last Jedi". :D You know some fans would love it!

    An Emo rock band? Emo Kylo and his Knights of Ren would fit that description perfectly.

    I'm not sure about Son of Darkness as the title. That would be the name of the final installment of the Skywalker trilogy?:confused: Son of Darkness sounds like a vampire movie or a sequel to The Omen. Fortunately, most of these rumors that turn up on Instagram or reddit, turn out to be BS. I guess we'll see about this one.

    Son of Darkness kind of makes sense, because it references a character like the other two in the sequel trilogy, TFA (Rey), and TLJ (Luke). Not saying I like the title, but it does seem plausible.

    I don't like Son of Darkness. Too dark for the last episode of the saga. Also, just seems too specific about Kylo Ren, too obvious.

    I actually really like Son of Darkness. But I agree that the last movie of the saga needs to have a more cheerful title. Son of Darkness would have worked for Episode 8.

    What about Daughter of Light? Referencing Rey of course.

    Oh god, Son of Darkness is awful... IMO... particularly given this film is being labelled as the end of the Skywalker Saga. Please let it be fake, which I'm sure it is.

    I'm pretty sure the title is fake. It sounds cool but it doesn't sound like a good trilogy closer.

    it depends on who the Son of Darkness is really.. doesn't it? I personally think that if they used that title.. it would be in reference to Anakin and that there would be a very big twist in the final movie of the saga.

    not sure i'm happy with the term 'SOD' though. "i really enjoyed SOD".. "i'm going to see SOD on thursday". lol.. just seems wrong.

    The first trilogy - I mean : the 3 first episodes - less or more describe a journey "from light to darkness" (republic to empire)
    The second trilogy - I mean : the original one, episodes 4, 5, 6 - rather is a journey "from darkness to light" (empire to new republic)
    Consequently and according to the prophecy, the third trilogy - the sequel, episodes 7, 8, 9 - should then be a kind of journey "from extremes to balance".

    That leads to the only title possible :
    - episode 7: the force awakens
    - episode 8: the last Jedi
    - episode 9: the last Sith
