    Welcome, @Sun_Crusher.

Now that you're an official member, it's you're sworn duty to help drive @Alamact crazy with illogical, structureless, narrative-impeding suggestions. Let your imagination run wild. The further the better.

Welcome, @Sun_Crusher! I think it's safe to say you picked a great time to introduce yourself and join the suggestions. :)

The crew of Knights Watch (can I just say I love the name?) just posted their second piece on the comic! So I am considering of opening a new thread for them that we could keep that discussion separate. There's some cool insight from Al and a whole commentary article with @MadsLad as a guest.

Review: Star Wars The Fallen Knights #1
Commentary: Star Wars The Fallen Knights #1

Here's the Rear Admiral's Front part:

It's amazing how much dense the comic gets with this review series. Must be because of the drought we had waiting for the big Doop update but I got to say I'm enjoying everything about this.

Thank you all for such a warm welcome! The shared communal ownership and friendliness is one of the reasons why I LOVE Star Wars! I can’t wait to shape this story with my fellow contributors, new and old.

I really want to do this with a Chiss character now.
Welcome, Sun Crusher! I completely dropped the ball here, no two ways about it. I'm sorry you had to wait this long for your first suggestion.

You are waiting in line. You are a PATIENT WOMAN.

Flavia is not a patient woman and therefore decides to MESS WITH THE REFUGEES instead using her SITH WITCH WAYS.

DARK SORCERY and GULLIBLE, EMOTIONALLY DISTRAUGHT PEOPLE! Name a better combo.

You're staring at your WRISTBAND WATCH, but it's certainly not helping you move through the line.

    HOOK.

    LINE.

    SINKER.

The KFG belongs to FLAVIA now.

She presents you with the SOLUTION to your PROBLEM, but you're not sure what to make of it.

You REBUFF her offer of generosity.

    She takes it well.

    One debaucherous food pillaging later...

    <TEXT NOT NEEDED>

GIB is about as ENTHUSED on this outcome as the AUDIENCE is concerning these PAINFULLY SLOW UPDATES.

You proceed to LEAVE the AREA to ruin someone else's day. There's not much else left to ruin here.

You gain TWO RED POINTS for depriving the GRAN REFUGEE of his food!

Also, you LITTERED on the FLOOR. How could you?

On the FLIPSIDE, you gain FOUR BLUE POINTS for eating FOUR BUCKET MEALS, thus saving other people from accidentally eating a SUBPAR DEEP FRIED DISH. This is proof that CUMULATIVE ABSOLUTE MORALITY totally works!

You enter a walkway that runs PARALLEL to the place where you need to be. The good part about this is that it offers you an AWESOME VANTAGE POINT. The bad part is...

It looks like the REPUBLIC and CAYDEN have taken Tink captive! You're not sure what's going on, but the OVERALL SITUATION looks pretty damn dire.

You have THREE BASIC CHOICES on how to proceed. You can STORM the STORMTROOPERS and take them by surprise, hoping that they won't KILL TINK in the chaos. You can OBSERVE the SITUATION from the safety of your VANTAGE POINT and tap into their communication, using any NEWFOUND INFORMATION to track them to their hideout and RESCUE TINK at a more opportune time. OR, you can CALL TINK a TRAITOR by taunting the group and thus taking the heat off from your captive associate, but the FULL SQUAD of COMMANDOS and CAYDEN will surely give chase.

    What do you do?

And then TRICK them into ARGUING with one another, just like in that book you read one time about the SPACE WIZARD and the EWOK who went off on a mission with 13 TOYDARIANS to take back their CREDITS from an evil KRATE DRAGON.

In the ensuing chaos, RESCUE Tink.

Option #2, roll for communications hacking. With 2 troopers already taken out, their comrades are no doubt concerned about where they've gone. Impersonate them and tell those troopers that they have been ambushed and need immediate assistance!

Ambushed by what, you ask? Anything! Nar Shadaa is the seedy underbelly of the galaxy! It could be Black Sun, it could be Sith Inflitrators, it could be Hutts in mech suits, it could even be a giant mutant rancor! USE YOUR IMAGINATION, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!

Definitely tap into their communications. Maybe even make a prank call beforehand to rile up some chatter on the network.

Take them by surprise and run. They are stormtroopers after all they're going to miss everything important to the plot and you are important.
    The other two? We'll see.

I would argue that we do not NEED to discriminate with our choices. Why not ALL THREE?

TAKE the troopers by surprise by TAPPING into their coms to TAUNT and disavow Tink.

Best case scenario is that they believe the strange voice and RELEASE her, but the worst case is that you make them so confused by the ABSURDITIY of this exchange that you can go in and AMBUSH them.

[Or you could just say you’re their superior and that Tink is irrelevant. Either way, it gets the job done ;-).]

Oh shit that's just crazy enough to work!

Let's try to tap into their comms first and assess the situation and THEN try to make it like we're accidentally arguing on an open comm channel about Tink's APPARENT BETRAYAL. Common sense says this will not backfire in any possible way.

Well well well... look at you, joining in on the fun with some fresh perspective! Well done!
    Couldn't agree more! :)

TAP into their comms and ARGUE, as if on an open comm channel, about Tink's APPARENT BETRAYAL and how PIVOTAL she is to our mission! Then pretend to make up a plan to take her out!

While they are ATTEMPTING to get her to a secure location, AMBUSH them and RESCUE her! :D

Happy Anniversary to us, folks! It's officially been over three years that I've been doing the comic and over three years we've had our fun with it. I'm going to do a proper debrief in the Discussion thread that will cover the anniversary proper, but first I'd like us to conclude Chapter 16.

Thank you once again for your continued support!

The Sergeant Major knows better than to argue with Cayden, as reckless as this decision of his may end up being.

The commandos part and back away, weapons still AT THE READY. Cayden now stands face to face with Tink, his intents a mystery.

SGT. MAJOR DORAN: "You got... dementia?"
FLAVIA: "This isn't working, you tuk'ata brained idiot."
FAZ: "Shut up, you'll ruin my ruse."
FLAVIA: "That thing's ruined beyond recognition already."
    FAZ: "Harsh."

FLAVIA: "Let's face it, Tink betrayed us to the Republic. I kept telling you we should have left her on Corellia, but no - our idiot leader kept insisting!"
FAZ: "Uh, over and out, sir?"
SGT. MAJOR DORAN: "Yes, I think I've heard enough."

Let's hope you know what you're doing, because TINK isn't exactly CONVINCED with all these FALSE ACCUSATIONS against her.

You are now DARTH SABER, stumbling your way through the DARKNESS of the ABANDONED REFUGEE SECTOR, guided by the trusty light of your GLOWPOLE. Alongside the DECREPIT CREAKS of these ANCIENT SKYSCRAPERS you hear... not much else. This place is UNSETTLINGLY SILENT. Merely minutes before, you're entirely sure that you've heard GUNFIRE echoing somewhere around you in this vast pit you've found yourself in.

Nevertheless, you are certain this ILL-MAINTAINED BRIDGE leads you to the entrance of the HIDDEN SANCTUM, the place where you need to go.

    What do you do?

Oh come on @Alamact, you know better than this...

This is Star Wars, therefore her reaction should be more in the vein of: TINK!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Nice slo-mo action! :)
Huh huh... "glowpole"... (And it's pink too...)
    Wait... what?

That's it? That FAKE-Jedi pulls a KYLO on our beloved TINK and you follow THAT by (and YES I am paraphrasing here...):

"You're STUMBLING in darkness (on a rusty bridge without a railing, in accordance with Star Wars building ethics ofcourse!
Only illuminated by your GLORIFIED TORCH, In which light you can see CORPSES laying around...
    )
But you are SURE you're going in the direction you need to go?"

    "What do you do?"

    Well... uhm... Stumble on?

Uhm... going slightly offtopic here... but has anyone else noticed things changing on the comment you posted in threads? I noticed this earlier today on another post, but I figured I accidentally altered it.

What I mean is: one or several lines of text dissappearing, the make-up of lines changing and smileys vanishing! :(

    For example:
I could have sworn that in my previous comment, in the line "Huh huh... "glowpole"... (And it's pink too...)", I put a :p at the very end! And now it's gone...

I hope this happened to more of you, cause it's starting to freak me out a little...
If it happened to others, that means it's real (and not just inside my head) and something can (hopefully) be done about it! ;)

EXAMINE the DEAD TRANDOSHAN further up the bridge. Maybe his corpse can tell you something about WHO or WHAT killed him.

Also loot. We must always think about the LOOT.

    Mind the rats, of course.
