SPECULATION Snoke knows Vader....

Saw that, pretty wild!

Can't help but wonder-

-It appears Snoke may have communicated with Vader
- They discuss mastery over life and death (much like Palpatine/Plagueis
- Vader and Palpatine die in ROTJ. Snoke seems to die in TLJ

I don't really have much of a fully formed theory yet, and I worry this will be end up just being some random dude and the storyline will never pay off, but if the above is all true then I can't help but feel it's connected.

And this must be what it feels like to be theorizing, again.

 

Interesting. I think it is almost like map exploration in Elder Scrolls where you find snippets of information in the form of diaries and conversations and details in the set design allow you to build your own stories based on what you infer.

Did Palpatine use Snokes to manipulate Vader, like he did with Ben?

 

I don't think that he did that in the literal sense (brings up uncomfortable imagery of one old man using another old man as a glove puppet) but more in another more figurative sense. For example, it may be that Snoke has an awareness of Palpatine but is a distinctly separate entity.

As for the jars of clones of Snoke, I have my own theory regarding that. Say if Palpatine was the one who inflicted those scars on Snoke and the clones are things harvested from the tissue on the battlefield.

Living experiments in a quest to halt any genetic degradation and disease associated with repeated replication. I know in Warhammer 40K, Fabius Bile suffered from an incurable genetic disease called The Blight which meant that he had to clone himself but each clone would eventually succumb. Or perhaps a force battery, the equivalent of the Golden Throne of Warhammer 40K wherein the Emperor sustains himself by sucking psykers dry of their essence.
