    @AstromechRecords and @Andrew Waples : I must apologize. I didn't read that book (I'm not so interested outside the movies). I barely followed 2 threads created heredown on the Cantina around the JarJar's fate, when the book was released, and some of the posts inside led me to think the chapter in the book was about Jar Jar's end, I interpreted as his death.

    I am not either. Just the fact that they made him a clown is a disgrace. It is like saying, “frellig you, George!” Before Disney, everything that was not the movies was not canon. Now, by trying to create a connected universe like the marvel formula, it seems like, “let the past die, kill it if you have to” is what they are doing to a degree...I hope Jar Kar gets his due and recognition

    That message if from the antagonist, by the way. Gee it's almost as if people have different opinions on how the world should work. In the same movie you also have "no one is ever really gone." Yeah that is not the message of TLJ.
