I need to listen to that album soon, I like TDC. Funny video too. It reminded me a bit of Bananarama’s version of ‘It Ain't What You Do (It's The Way That You Do It)’ musically!

    ————————

Ok, my last recommendations were all time favourite guitar-based songs, here are some of my all time favourite video game tunes:

A Special Edition that was from a Lucas-owned company you say? No, not those SEs...

Movie-score-level of greatness, as one would expect from Joe Hisaishi:

This one is not the original but a restoration/recreation in higher quality:

I wish this one had a proper ending other than a fade out (personal bug-bear) but otherwise I love everything about it:

Listening to the incredible remaster of Mansun's Six - one of my favourite albums.

Title track with a cool animated version of the album art:

One of the most grossly underrated bands of all time....with one of the most talented and overlooked guys, Jeff Lynne. ELO had the most Top 40 hits of ANY band from 1972 to 1986.....

Watch all the way through for one of the most epic pop song endings of all time.....and that 1-2-3-4 clang on the cowbell!! Iconic!!!

@Martoto I love that song! And how appropriate I put an ELO song after the Beatles - Beatles were fans of ELO!! Also appropriate that Mr Blue Sky follows Here Comes the Sun....

    This world is beautiful
    Held within its stars
I keep it in my heart
    The stars are your eyes
I loved them right from the start
    A world so beautiful
    And I keep it
    In my heart

A ghosteen dances in my hand
    Slowly twirling, twirling, all around
    Glowing circle in my hand
    Dancing, dancing, dancing, all around

A ghosteen dances in my hand
    Slowly twirling, twirling, all around
A ghosteen dances in my hand
    Dancing, dancing, dancing, all around

    There goes the moonlit man
Got a suitcase in his hand
He’s moving on down the road
    Things tend to fall apart
    Starting with his heart
He kisses you lightly and he leaves
    Leaves your sleeping body
Curled and dreaming around your smile
    Around your smile

The three bears watch the TV
They age a lifetime, O Lord
    Mama Bear holds the remote
    Papa Bear he just floats
And Baby Bear he has gone
Gone to the moon in a boat
    Oh in a boat

    I’m speaking about love now
How the lights of love go down
You’re in the back room washing his clothes
    Love’s like that you know
    It’s like a tidal flow
And the past with its fierce undertow
    Won’t ever let us go
    Won’t ever let you go

If I could move the night I would
And I would turn the world around if I could
There is nothing wrong with loving something
You can’t hold in your hand
You’re sitting on the edge of the bed
    Smoking and shaking your head
Well there’s nothing wrong with loving things
    That cannot even stand

Well, there goes your moony man
With his suitcase in his hand
Every road is lined with animals
That rise from their blood and walk
Well the moon won’t get a wink of sleep
If I stay all night and talk
If I stay all night and talk

It has been a long time since I've heard something so beautiful. Song famous world over, unique interpretation. Harmonies are fire.

I am glad my Chinese dramas introduced me to Zhou Shen. Young man has a voice of an angel and speaks 6-7 languages, sings in every style from opera to pop & rock.

That’s quite a list you posted! I like a lot of them too.

I am a huge fan of the band Manic Street Preachers as this thread will surely attest to if I keep posting in it (lol). I posted ‘A Design For Life’ earlier in the thread, which is my favourite song...they are basically my greatest musical fandom, like Star Wars is my greatest film fandom (with only Ghibli movies anywhere near). Nevertheless I will try to not let my fandom of the Manics get too crazy here, as I could literally post a tune a day here for the next year and still have plenty left over... lol

For now, this is a Japan-exclusive track from their last album that I have been obsessed with ever since I first heard it (shout out to Rey in The Last Jedi!):

First of all, thank you for sharing! :)

I've never heard of this song before and I always love to discover new music for my self to listen to. I listened to this one and some others before replying, and I really like their rock style. It's not too heavy which is just what I like. Robert Plant, Guns N' Roses & KISS are basically the hardest rock I listen to.

In this particular song I was listening to the lyrics and I particularly love the line:

    "The Mirror's my enemy,
    The shadows are my friend."

This song has some very unique writing.
