    Thanks!

In-world, I think there was some kind of Sith blood sacrifice thing going on.

My main guess is the Rule of Two. Darth Bane invented the Rule because when there is multitude of Dark Siders intercide happens due to each Sith vying for power. Unlike the Jedi who serve one another and do not compete for hierachy and control; the Sith like lions devour each other until “only the strongest survives.” Bane sought to skip these ‘pride’ wars, and allow two powerful Sith at any given time.

Simpler answer, Anakin’s Younglingcide is meant to seal his transformation to Vader, and make you terrified for Luke and Leia in the womb of Padme.

Simple, the Rule of Two established by Darth Bane. Sidious did not want dozens of Jedi Younglings with the potential to usurp him.

Ironic, the Way of the Sith is that a more powerful apprentice is suppose to slay s weaker Master and yet Palpatine’s aim is always to be impervious to usurpation.

Palpatine didn't need Jedi younglings. He had Vader kill them for two reasons - To prove Vader's loyalty and because Palpatine really hated the Jedi.

Honestly, Palpatine didn't even need Vader. Think about his position at the time: Order 66 had just killed all of the Jedi except an insignificant handful, he had control over the Droid army and the Clone army, and he had a Death Star secretly under construction. His power was unchallenged, maybe even unchallengable.

The only reason Palps turned Anakin was for the thrill of it. Palps was always trying to one-up himself. "Single-handedly enslave the Galaxy? Yay me, but what's next? I know, I'll turn the most powerful Jedi in history to the Dark Side and make him call me Master!"

But back to the question. The younglings in the Temple were just targets to Palpatine. He already had the best of them, Anakin Skywalker, and didn't want the losers. He didn't need the losers. And he wanted Vader to take the next step down the Dark path, which is why he sent Vader inside the Temple instead of simply ordering a TIE Bomber to adjust the Temple's internal thermostat by a million degrees.

So we know that Palpatine was interested in Force Sensitive children, as seen in The Clone Wars.

But the younglings were already subjected to the teachings (and arguably, the "indoctrination") of the Jedi. Keeping them alive was a pretty big risk. If even one of them decided to avenge their fallen order, they could be extremely dangerous- not only as a physical opponent, but as a beacon of hope.

The Inquisitors, beings already twisted by hate and hopelessness, were far easier to mold than the potentially righteous minds of children.

Palpatine sent Vader to the Jedi Temple for one reason.... to ruin Skywalker's relationship with his wife.

Captain Cackle knew that Padme would never abide by the slaughter of children.

    Mission accomplished.

The younglings were killed because Anakin was suggestible enough to carry that order out, because apparently the Jedi would execute Anakin as soon as they learned about what he'd already done, according to Sidious.

I have been reading The Book of Sith, and discovered The Sith are more of a collection of cults (denominations) and they do not all agree. For instance The Nightsisters refuse call their practices the Dark Side and even reject tenets of the older Sith orders. There is a much broader range of Sith, and Palpatine had a vastly different perspective of the Force than his Master Darth Plagueis:

Darth Sidious also hinted that there was truly only one Force that was above such things as "positive and negative, black and white, good and evil." He stated that the only difference was that the Jedi saw the Force as a power in itself, while the Sith believed it was a means to power. This theory was fervently opposed by the Jedi Master Yoda. Additionally, Darth Plagueis believed that there were distinct differences between the energies of the light and dark sides as well as distinct differences in how one drew upon each.” (The Dark Side, Wookieepedia).

Also, if they were spared there would be the chance of them seeing what happened to their adult counterparts. It wasn't that Anakin was suggestible, it was because Anakin was vulnerable and Palpatine was a master of persuasion.

For real world comparisons, the heads of the Einsatzgruppen were actually educated men from intellectuals to philosophers with PhD's- the Nazis needed men of letters who could persuade ordinary people through rhetoric to kill unarmed women and children. They must die so we can live.

I Mean, They Were Significantly Weaker In The Force Than The Other Jedi, And Hadn’t Learned Nearly As Much, So They Should Have Been Easy To Turn

Palpatine wasn't interested in turning the younglings to the dark side.

He had another use for them.

Darth Vader didn’t just kill the Jedi men, but the Jedi women and the Jedi children too…

Bur seriously, Darth Vader probably killed more Jedi than the Grand Inquisitor. Darth Vader was a Sith Lord while the Inquisitor was just an inquisito. Palpatine ordered Vader to track down and kill as many as he could, and being that he was more powerful than the Inquisitor, won most, if not all battles with Jedi he encountered. If the Grand Inquisitor encountered a Jedi, he could either defeat him/her, or be forced to retreat.

Because its a distraction from the main theme of the film, which is the fall of the Galactic Republic and Anakin's turning to the Dark Side.

I don’t think that the inquisitors came to be at this time. I don’t think. But I’m not 100% sure. Plus, the clones along with Anakin were ordered to eliminate all Jedi. This way all Jedi who could oppose the sith and potentially train more Jedi could be wiped out. Also, the chance of betrayal in one of the younglings could bring forth more jedi to fight the sith and the Empire. The younger generation of jedi just had too much loyalty to turned into sith anyway. Just my thinking and opinion. :)

Vader is the one who started the Jedi purge, he killed all the Padawan, Knight and Master of the Jedi Temple, he continued killing them for decades, Yes the Inquisitors killed a lot of Jedi, but not so much as Vader , Vader is the one who made the Jedi fall, the Inquisitors were Jedi Killer under the orders of Vader and Sidious, they was going to kill the survivors. The Inquisitors are similar to Grievous and Ventress, give them a target they will kill her, Vader him he killed everyone!

Most inquisitors were disillusioned padawans or knights who turned to the Empire on their own, and were trained more by vader. The highest ranked inquistor in the jedi order was the tenth brother, who was a jedi master. Jedi resolve was quite strong, so i don't know if they could have turned any jedi.

Yeah so the inquisitors would become this voluntarily.

I think the deaths of the Younglings was done to show just how far Anakin had fallen. Brainwashed or not, he willingly chose to heed Palpatine's advice and murder those kids, under the pretense that doing so would increase his power in the Dark Side so he could save Padme.

Turning the younglings into inquisitors would have been to OP. Imagine an army with 30 evil Force-sensitives with lightsabers. The Rebels wouldn't have stood a chance.
