    Hello there!

    Once more we have come to that wonderful time of the year when a new (and final) chapter of our favorite franchise gifts us with its presence (ba dum tsh).
    As always, we will have our special premiere spoiler guidelines for everyone to pay heed of. We will blockade all spoilers that are not in designated areas for the 15 days after the premiere of The Rise of Skywalker, so those dates are December 19th through January 3rd. After that, you really oughtn't be on a Star Wars forum if you're trying to avoid spoilers, friend. :p

    So without further ado, let us take another look at the rules for this time period:

    GUIDELINES FOR POSTING DURING THE SPOILER PERIOD

    PROFILE POSTS
    • Please refrain from posting any spoilers, quotes, dialogue, scene descriptions etc. in Profile Posts - remember these posts are fully visible to members as soon as the log in, so even the spoiler conscious would not be able to avoid them!
    THREADS & THREAD POSTS
    • PLEASE USE SPOILER TAGS!
    • When creating a "spoiler" tagged Thread, use a vague title; do not put spoilers in the thread title itself
      • For example, post-TFA, the RED "spoiler" prefix does nothing for a thread titled "Han's Death"
    • Outside of threads with RED "spoiler" prefix, please remember to use the spoiler tags!
    • Please be courteous and use the spoiler tag on all TROS threads for the first 48 hours.
    GUIDELINES FOR READING

    MIND THE SPOILER PREFIX
    • Any thread with RED "spoiler" prefix is going to be packed full of.. wait for it… spoilers.
      • Don’t go there if you want to remain in the dark or haven’t seen it yet.
    • If you follow the "Recent Activity" page, understand that you may see spoilers in that feed.
    MODERATING PROFILE POSTS and GENERAL DISCUSSION

    Some threads are going to be a bit of general discussion mixed in with spoilers (hopefully within spoiler tags!
    Understand that all TROS-specific threads may be “enter at your own risk” zones to some degree).
    • Any spoilers, lines of dialogue, or just about anything pertaining to the film WILL BE DELETED on sight if found on profile posts or discussion threads that do not have have the RED "spoiler" prefix.
    • If you see any posts that break these rules:
      • hit the report button and Staff or 1030th member will see to it.
      • PM any Staff or 1030th members who are online if you see a rule-breaking post and we will get right to it.
    As a wise man twice said, please just be respectful of you fellow Cantina patrons so that we can all enjoy the latest installment from a galaxy far, far away in as spoiler free a manner as possible.

    Saw TROS a few hours ago. I didn't hate it, but it I felt it tried its best to undo the mess of TLJ. Too much fan service. A weird and unsatisfying conclusion that does not explain the main questions that most people will have.

    But you'll agree with me, that if you want to minimize the chances of making an @$$ out of yourself on stage, you first need to hone your skills as a musician. Wether you're a singer, guitarist, drummer, pianist/keyboardist or bass player. You adhere to the "Triple P"-rule...
    Practice, Practice, Practice!!! :D

    Then you work to "perfect" your cover. Make sure that what the band is playing is in the SAME KEY as your singing, for instance! :rolleyes:
    A lot of (amateur) singers don't always have the range to sing songs in the original key.
    Hell, plenty of big bands change the key of their song when played live later on in their career, when the lead singer can no longer reach certain high notes for example.

    These idiots chose to "wing it", so they have only themselves to blame.

    Though I'm a very compassionate person, I wont 'let them off the hook for this kind of lazyness and/or stupidity...
    This perfomance was inexcusable. :cool:

    I agree with your statement that "Art is difficult and unforgiving business". However, if you can't stand the heat...
