'Babyoda' General Discussion

OMG I would totally watch that cartoon! So awesome!

 

We just need to figure out how to get Disney to do it.

 

So Babyoda almost said its first word when it exited the Razor Crest in Episode 5!

 

I don’t think it would have been a happy word...

My theories about baby yoda. 1. Hes a clone 2. Hes a secret love child of yoda and/or yaddle. 3. Hes just a random member of the species. 4. And this one is far fetched but hes Yoda reincarnated and their species just does that. Thoughts?

 

I think Yoda is the Light Side manifest. He comes often as a meek little green fella to show us Jedi to be humble and remember The Force is not about appearances, but about what lies within.

I know is not a rodian but, can I call him "that little McLunkey"?

 

I think Disney, Dave and Jon are looking hard for "THE" voice for maybe a young teen BabyY. Can't have another child like in Dune with little sister speaking and everyone in the audience laughing. Dune chose the wrong voice. The voice Actor for The Mandalorian, I think a
mechanical, very natural sounding one, to be sure. But to me sounds mechanical. Not like in the YouTube things, which are very mechanical to me. Very obvious. Of course speaking from a metal suit changes voices and may they had to dud all his dialog.

If BabyY does speak, I think he could sound like a teen. But we, the audience, are in love with BABY YODA. Not teen yoda, and BabyY's infant status puts him in a "gotta protect at all cost" category. Something that has protected him all these years. We need to question The Doctor (.....) and ask why he wanted to protect the infant Yodachild.

As you say, he could be able to speak, but is along for the ride, willingly. Fifty years is a long time, enough for training in a LOT of things. Strategy, insight to us wonky Humans. Nothing says he didn't know the real Yoda. Sorry, can't remember if the time frame left enough time for them to meet. Brain Storming here.

Waiting for tomorrow's sling-shot into the air. Don't know where we'll come down, but we'll be there for the next big adventure. Or a sit by the fire-side on a beach, a high rock, a tiny islet as memories for Mando and/or BabyY flow by us to give us a clue as to the origin of this little green guy. We. Will. Be. Surprised.

 

I have created a petition on Change.org to try and get Disney to allow the fans to name "The Child." Please sign and share this petition, and hopefully we can take a part in the character development of this this adorable bundle of potential Jedi Force!

Hate to be the debbie downer, but those petitions never work. I've never once have read petition.org petitions actually work. Besides, I'm sure they already have the name for the creature.

 

Please, Disney. Do NOT name BabyY, Gizmoda or any other spelling of that name. The name has to be unique and when seen immediately you think of BabyY.

Call him Vegar, as close to Vegas as I can get, as we're all gambling on him.

 

BabyY names: We don't need to know the Species or planet of origin. A official name would be enough. Yoda was named, we followed his exploits through all the movies until his death. Then we had his force ghost pop up every now and then when someone needed advise. Other Yoda type entities had names and it wasn't necessary for us to know their Species name or planet of origin, either.

 

Yanni should be his name because he is as epic as this guys hair.

 

For fun, while brain storming with names, how about YanniGhoga. Remember the male model with long long hair from some time back? From that point I liked the looks of long hair on guys. Clean and goomed hair. Not the ratted out stuff. I'm a bit picky.

I think BabyY is an entity unto himself. Not a clone. Otherwise, why would The Client and Doctor keep talking about cloning, getting his cells, examining him. Why was so much Beskar paid for his capture? An astronomical amount of a very hard to find metal? BabyY knows how to use the force. He was going to use it to defend himself.

 

Perhaps because he is the first example/result of a new cloning process, that should avoids premature aging ? (just a supposition)

 

Posibility: TINY was already captured. He was in a place to be cloned. Someone (Doctor, maybe) got him out before the cloning. He was a little too anxious about the whole situation. Curious to know if Doctor is still alive. Now the Empire has tiny and the process continues?........well.?
