GAME Create Your Own Stormtrooper Type

My Stormtrooper is not your typical military Stormtrooper, it's more of a special force who works behind the scenes.

"Detection Trooper"
Dection Troopers are the Empire's or First Order's own version of a Bounty Hunter. They work in small groups and are trained to gain informations (both political and military). Another part of their role is to hunt down enemies and traitors/defectors.
These special forces aren't used to fight in an "on field"-war, they work behind the scenes and try to damage the enemy from its insides. So they're wearing regual street clothing with some minor protections and weapons. But don't underestimate them. They are highly trained soldiers and can kill you in an instant.

 

"Droid Trooper"

The First Order didn't have enough resources to have the army they have with only humans, so they made droids that imitate real troopers in order to bolster their troops.
They don't have the resourcefulness of an human but when you put them next to a brainwashed soldier, it's hard to tell them apart.

 

"Acid Trooper"

The Acid Troopers are a division of storm troopers that specialize in chemical warfare, using one of the worst tactics of war against their foes. Their mask is a combination of a regular storm trooper helmet and a plague doctor's mask, which contains air filtration systems for themselves.. They use standarad weaponry, plust tons of chemical based weapons such as tear gas, poison gas, and corrosive liquids.

I'm gonna go with a Contact Trooper- a special variant equipped with various "flashy" technology meant to impress (and if needed, intimidate) primitive sentient lifeforms into submitting to the Empire. Armor class is focused more on blunting physical attacks rather than plasma fire, and they typically carry flamethrowers to further intimidate any rebellious tribes.

 

"Packrat Troopers"

Packrat Troopers are stormtroopers specialized in guerrilla warfare and scavenging, in the Imperial Army they are adaptive scout troopers and work with Imperial Sympathizing militias. In the First Order they scavenge areas for weapons

 

My Idea “Orbit Troopers”

Orbit Troopers drop from the sky in drop pods from behind enemy line’s for an attack or sabotage. They wear either all black or special camo depending on the location and are equipped with regular blasters.

 

My idea "Poison Troopers"
Poison troopers are used by the Empire to poison anyone in their way. They wear black armor and sometimes cloaks, so they can sneak in easy.

 

Aquatic trooper, mostly used to explore large bodies of water in search of old relics and recovery crashed ships

 

This would probably have to be a First Order variant only, but what about a Voyager Trooper- a variant with miniaturized hyperdrive motivator tech built into their armor, along with atmospheric shields.

Imagine being able to deploy an infantry force through hyperspace and have them land on an enemy planet or the hull of a capital ship, boots on the ground. Good for both specialized teams like Inferno Squad, but also for large scale invasions/reliefs.

(Then, just for fun, imagine how funny it would look to use gravity well tech to rip a force like that out of hyperspace.)

 

Cyber Trooper. A group of cybernetically enhanced Stormtroopers. Thing a batallion of General Grevious type guys (Stormtrooper themed of coarse) wielding Vibroblades and elecrtostaves.

 

Nightmare trooper- equipped with built in gas mask and canisters of hallucinogens and a variety of flensing tools these thin cyborgs often act as the final wave leaving a swathe of blood and horrors in their wake. Sometimes they are used in sieges that are particularly tough. Their inability to feel pain and integrated combat stimms meaning they can endure a variety of conditions including injuries that would otherwise incapacitate an ordinary trooper.

Borne of an unholy hybrid of ancient Sith alchemy and genetic augmentation, in a process supervised by Palpatine himself, they are the final message to any surviving rebel that thinks to resist the Empire. Feared by their enemies and reviled by their colleagues for their methods, they are often confined to one part of the ship where they sleep in vats of amniotic fluid waiting for the time they are next activated.

Their tactics include:

• Parroting the voices of those they have slain
• Spectacles of the messy kind
• Use of hallucinogens and pheromones
• Hunting tactics
• Sending plain clothed infiltrators to foster distrust between groups and individuals
• Use of jump troopers for hit and run tactics

Basically Star Wars Night Lords.

Nice.

How would the Acid Trooper dispense his/ her weapons? Via grenades? One suggestion would be to have wrist mounted chem-throwers. The physiology may also need to be altered in the eventuality of accidental exposure. Something less than human but also something more...

 

Retrieval stormtrooper. The bruiser stormtrooper has a durable enhanced exoskeleton that can jump large distances, enabling them to catch Jedi if an inquisitor is not present. They can also catch other faster species like Terrellian Jango jumpers and are also good for data retrieval as their exoskeletons will give them enhanced protection and speed.

 

Engineer stormtrooper. Act as fortified combat support and construct/manage creation of battlefield structures such as mortar ditches, trenches, bunkers, artillery positions, makeshift tents and bases, F.O.B.S and more. They only construct these when normal constructors can't as they don't have knowledge to construct combative structures whilst in threat or are being attacked whilst executing the building. They can also act as support for mine laying, ambush preparations, defending positions and transporting vital supplies. They operate usually under a commanding officer with an advisor from a special forces trooper type that vary depending on the scenario they are in.

these troopers are locked away for most of their lives as the madness that has been forced upon them cant be contained after they are unleashed. They have trained and modified to use almost anything as a weapon. They leave nothing behind. The madness is so strong they fight even after losing limbs, being impaled or anything that would stop you average person they still fight. 3 escaped on a star destroyer and took out the entire ship before flying it directly into a well inhabited moon of Sraclic 11 an empire stronghold in the outer edge. these were only the beta tested carnage troopers. They were only used once in secret on Alderaan and are the true reason the death star blew up the planet.

 

Always love trying to find niches that can be filled for these.

How about Chronotroopers?

Emperor Palpatine's obsession with powerful force-sensitive artifacts and otherworldly powers eventually led him to discovering the potential of the World Between Worlds. As Imperial teams worked on excavating a location on the world of Lothal, an even more secretive project was underway- the Chronotrooper initiative.

This initiative was created with the purpose of harnessing the power of the World Between Worlds, and using it to maximize the potential of its abilities (the Empire still needed to finish research on exactly how the "time travel" worked).

Chronotroopers do not have a specific armor, but part of their training involves being prepared to blend in during various galactic periods. Individual Chronotroopers specialized in learning various aspects of galactic history- some were particularly well versed in the beginnings of the Clone Wars, and were equipped in Phase I armor. Others looked further to the past to influence ancient wars between the Mandalorians and Jedi, donning fine Beskar. And some yet were preparing for visions Palpatine was having about something called the "Battle of Exegol", and wore armor that seemed somewhat like that of stormtrooper issue, but colored a bright red.

Perhaps the most sinister side of the Chronotrooper initiative was the way that the Empire's knowledge of past events could potentially influence even things outside of the Empire's usual workings. For instance, this would allow the Empire to plant a false ally among the troublesome rogues of the "Bad Batch" early in their careers, who could work undercover and undo the flawed clone's rebellious plans.

Of course, galactic historians don't agree on whether or not this World Between Worlds could accomplish what the Empire hoped to do, or if it was just another occult obsession of the Emperor. But if it did work, the results could've been devastating. Other projects included the arrest of the jedi Obi Wan Kenobi before the battle of Utapau, the retrieval of a mysterious Zabrak warrior from the battle of Naboo, the sabotaging of the B-Wing project, and the ability to send schematics for various technological terrors back in time to allow for literal instantaneous production of them (imagine the ability to instantly produce a Death Star, simply because you told people in the past how to do so?).

"Chrono" of course refers of course to "time", a reference that (depending on who you talk to) arguably is a bit mislabeled in regards to how the World Between Worlds works. But on the world of Hisulthar where the academy for the troopers resides, the name for time translates a bit differently, with the tentacled locals who'd caught a glance of these specialized units and lived to tell the tale, referring to them as "cawatroopers".

 

nature stormtroopers. I always notice that the empire gets beaten by nature, or maybe space whales. Therefore, they should stop being so uncouth towards nature and get stormtroopers to train and bond with animals, so that if someone ever revolts, the empire can sic a space whale on them.
