Just finished reading Ahsoka and am about to read So You Want to Be A Jedi (iteration of Empire Strikes Back).

I remember reading that in 2018- I loved the art style. As a matter of interest, have you considered The Star Wars (comic adaptation of original script) by Dark Horse. It is pretty wizard to read what may have been.

If you have read any of the Horus Heresy series, specifically those based on Angron, you would love this.

It has been a while since I read this but I remember this being one of my favourite canon novels featuring Leia. That and Bloodline.

Ive been reading Star Wars Master and Apprentice since last night and been reading some of the book today.

Pretty good book to read. That and the Darth Maul Lockdown novel.

I think I like Master and Apprentice more than Cloak of Deception pretty much.

I just read Master and Apprentice and loved it! Highly recomended! I'm also in the middle of reading Queen's Shadow, and am pleasantly suprised to find an exciting and fasinating story with some of the best writing I have come across in a while. Both great reads!

Started reading Master and Apprentice back in March and haven’t been able to find the time to read it since. It hadn’t hooked me yet, but I liked the way Qui-Gon was written. (Truly an underrated character.)

I got round to reading Stover's Revenge of The Sith novelisation - really gripping. I love his descriptions of how a force user perceives the force, about how people leave their own unique traces within it as well. Have Master and Apprentice sitting here, not started it yet. Qui Gon was a character I used to neglect, however, I've come to the conclusion that he seems to be the most Jedi out of any prequel era Jedi. Hoping this will expand on his mentality

Tales from the New Republic was pretty good. No Disintegrations, Please about Boba Fett is a masterpiece. I also enjoyed Conflict of Interest a lot. The story of how the liberation does not only bring prosperity but also threats for some is really conveincing. Plus two stories about Fenig Nabon.
In general I enjoy stories that show, let's say, unclear ethics or double morality, such as Lost Tribe of Sith, Legacy of the Force series. Do you know any other books of this kind (preferably of Legends)?
Plus I have a follow up question to the topic: what kind of content are you looking for in SW books? Like battles, politics etc.

@cheewie - This might have been a while back, but how did you find Twilight Company? Does it get into the grit of the Galactic Civil War? Would you recommend?

I’d really like to get back into the comics soon. Other than completing the Poe Dameron series in preparation for The Rise of Skywalker, I haven’t bought any in almost three years. I’ve still read a few of them, but I don’t own anything else from 2018 onward. The biggest factor as to why I stopped collecting comics was how much they cost and that’s still the reason stopping me from getting caught up. I’m positive the prices on Amazon have gone up in the last few months, which isn’t helping my motivation.

Still I’d liked to be caught up on the following series by the end of this year:
    • Star Wars Volumes 6-13
    • Doctor Aphra Volumes 1-7
    • The Rise of Kylo Ren
    • Jedi: Fallen Order: Dark Temple
    • Darth Vader: Dark Lord of the Sith Volumes 2-4
    • Age of the Republic/Rebellion/Resistance
Might pick these up as well:
    • Han Solo
    • Han Solo: Imperial Cadet
    • Vader: Dark Visions
    • Target Vader
    • Princess Leia
I would also really like to get back into reading. Last time I posted in this thread, I stated how I had started Master and Apprentice back in March and hadn’t picked it back up since. Unfortunately, that has not changed. I have also yet to read Alphabet Squadron. Good time to get started on that seeing as how it ties in with the upcoming Squadrons game and its sequel Shadow Wing just came out.

My goal is to read all three of those books, as well as Queen’s Peril, Free Fall, and Thrawn Ascendancy, by the time the High Republic stuff starts rolling out. That’ll be much easier to accomplish now seeing as how they’ve been delayed to next year.

    Wish me luck!

I just finished reading Thrawn Treason earlier this morning. Not bad but its not great like the previous Thrawn novels.

I couldnt stand Krennic being manipulative again playing stupid political games with Tarkin and Thrawn and Ronan when the Grysk were invading the galaxy.
