    Yes I did.

Not as impressed for S3 but it was interesting.

I think they tried to explain things too much by talking and considering what we had at the beginning of S3, I would have gone to a storyline to be completely different.

I thought at one moment that it was Adam and Eve's love story across the times and that was the story of how they broke the curse to be back to the Eden garden and I thought it was really a brilliant idea.

It went a little too much like Fringe in some aspects and I was somehow disappointed that they didn't go to the story I thought it was but the last shots of the birth of Charlotte was a real good ending.

But in the end, it's in one of my favourite show. It might not be top 5 but not very close to.

There's a new twist on King Arthur, a female with the sword possibly inspired by the sequal trilogy, can't recall the name its coming on netflix gonna check that out. I see Rey and female warriors are sort of a new trend. I recently watched Another Life on Netflix, another female-driven series. delving into allot of anime like Blame, Berserk, Ghost in the shell, Knights of Sodonia. we're not getting Star Wars/Mandalorian till the fall so anime will hold me over.

I was pleasantly surprised by Star Trek: Picard. The production is excellent, Patrick Stewart is as great, as ever and the characters are more interesting (and better performed), than early trailers suggested. Plus, it was great to see some old characters back, even a couple minor ones. The liberal p...erspective was also less prevalent, than I expected. And, finally, not a prequel! Overall, a much better experience, that the first season of STD.

I just finished Legend of Korra last night as part of my "Avatar marathon". I have to say, it wasn't as bad as I've heard some say it is. Book 2 was pretty bad imo, but Books 1, 3, and 4 were all solid, even if they felt "condensed". I think it could have been just as good as ATLA if Nickelodeon had actually supported the show and not sabotaged it.

Trying out Person of Interest again. I liked it the first time, but I never got beyond episode 4. Right now I'm on episode 7 or 8, so I'm making progress!

My sister also recommended Kim's Convenience to me, but it takes a bit for me to get into comedies (but once I do, I latch on like there's no tomorrow). Does anyone have any highlight episodes that are good for beginners? Or is it like Parks and Rec, where you just have to power through?

    upload_2020-8-3_10-26-10.jpeg

I notice I go through phases with this show. I don't watch it and think it's stupid, watch a few episodes and get a chuckle, and then watch more and geniunely laugh and appreciate it. It reminds me of Friends in all the right ways (good comedy, great cast chemistry, and mostly-likeable characters) and some of the wrong ones (laugh track, all white cast, love triangle between the main character (who can be a pretentious jerk), the main love interest, and the man-Schutta of the show). I watched it years ago and I remember all of the vitriol about the ending; and while I'm not connected enough to really care (and do think the main ending, while wrong for the story was right for the characters), I do understand why it's so hated.* At least because it's a comedy so one can go back and cherry pick episodes.

Some of my favorite scenes that are not slap related:

*After watching the alternate ending, I understand why people like it better. In a very real way, that's how it should have ended. But I also think the original ending is what would have happened after the "happy ever after." But like the Sequel Trilogy, people would probably prefer to see The Mother's adventures with the gang rather than hear about what happened five-ten years down the line.

    Bluey on Disney+.

Yeah it's a kids show. But man it is sooooo good. If you've got young kids in the house, guaranteed they will love it (and you will too!)

Parenting summed up quite nicely in this 2 minute clip from the show:

I am currently watching, well rewatching Star Wars the Clone Wars. I love that show. I love clones! I am bouncing around seasons, but currently I’m just watching a few episodes here and there in Season 6 and 7. Also a little from Season 1.

What do you think of it so far?

Season One is one of the - if not the - best first seasons of a live action superhero show I've ever seen. (Other contenders: The Flash, Black Lightning, and one other show I can't think of at the moment. Possibly Luke Cage, but only for the first half of the season.)
Season Two falters a bit (and steps down to #3 in terms of best second season), but it's still incredibly good (#1 is Agents of Shield, #2 is Arrow).
I'm still on Season 3 myself, and while I like it, I can't bring myself to watch it constantly. I feel like the phase is over and the overall darkness of the Marvel Netflix shows are too dark for me to fully enjoy at this point.

    upload_2020-8-8_18-15-12.jpeg
I started this yesterday, and I've been enjoying it. I have about an episode and a half left.
The pace feels faster than previous shows in the series, and that's really wreaking havoc on the characters to me. There aren't enough moments to breathe, and major betrayals or heroic moments aren't as strong as they should be because of it. The cast is also larger, which doesn't help.
This show feels more "epic" than previous shows in terms of scope - it seems to abandon the whole theme of balancing "regular" life with "supernatural" life that the previous two shows had, and is mostly made up of a cast of characters from the previous two shows. On one hand, it's great seeing all of our old friends again. On the other hand, I liked the balancing act. It was a nice throwback to Saturday morning cartoons of the same genre (Kim Possible, Codename Kids Next Door, American Dragon Jake Long, etc.) and it allowed for different themes to be explored (single parent households, immigration and xenophobia, and the thread of constantly being "the other" woven throughout the entire series). But here there's so little of that, and it feels like something integral to the show is missing.

Time travel is a major part of this show as well, and while I don't like it, I can look past it at this moment.

There are some fun ideas such as the citizens of Arcadia being so used to the supernatural/weird at this point that an android head isn't the weird thing characters have seen all week, and the end of the world just means that summer school activities are cancelled for the time being. It's pretty funny.

And I'd be a fool to leave out the fact that the one and only STEPHANIE BEATRIZ (aka Rosa from Brooklyn 99) has a very prominent role this season. It's easy to tell the voice is Stephanie's because she's using the exact same voice she does for Rosa. While I don't think it fits the character, I love hearing the Rosa voice so much I don't even care.

In a weird way, this is like TROS to me: The pace is too fast for the show right now, the main gimmicks make me roll my eyes, and there's a larger focus on plot over characters which is something the previous two instalments didn't have as large a problem with. But unlike TROS, I'm still here. Maybe it helps that usually playing a videogame when I'm watching, so it's more of a background show. Maybe it's because I love Stephanie Beatriz's voice. Maybe it's because I'm not as attached to the property. Maybe it'll age poorly with time. Who knows.

I didn’t know that show was out yet, I watched the show that had other characters from that show. Trollhunters I think?
Also Daredevil season 1 is the best, season 3 is okay, one of the coolest things about it though is bullseye. He just using anything as a weapon, like a baseball or paper clips.

Probably Trollhunters. There's also 3Below, and that's not too bad, but most of this cast is from Trollhunters, so you could honestly probably skip 3Below if you just wanted to watch Wizards. 3Below is probably better long-term though.
And I realized where the pacing problem came from! Wizards only has ten episodes in this first season (I'm assuming there will be more). Trollhunters had 26 episodes in Season One, and 13 in Season Two & Season 3. Meanwhile 3Below had 13 episodes for both seasons.

Good to see that they kept that! I was never much of a fan of his comics, but I still remember the scene in the awful Ben Affleck Daredevil movie when Bullseye killed the lady on the airplane with a peanut.

@Embo and His Pet Anooba I forgot to add this earlier, but the show coming out was a surprise (to be sure, but a welcome one) for me too. I knew it was coming out in August, I just didn't think it'd be so soon.
