    Started watching Lovecraft Country... I don’t know if it’s the massive logic leaps or scene editing, but it feels like I’m watching a show with ADHD.

    I’m disappointed as the subject matter is definitely my bag, but I’ve only done two eps, am losing interest and a friend has who already seen the third said it’s not getting any better.

    Anyone else watching?

    Episode 2 was weak and weird, but 3 was very good and 4 (which I have't yet seen) gets good reviews. The 2nd episode, though... felt like two different genres spliced together.

    Such a fantastic and largely overlooked show. Season 2 in particular is a masterpiece.



    As for myself, currently watching Raised By Wolves on HBO MAX. Solid so far.

    Just finished Season 3 of Person of Interest, and that was rough on multiple levels. I'll keep watching, but the show is headed into a dark place that I'm honestly not sure that I'm emotionally available for.

    My friend is watching The 100, and he has a love-hate relationship with it. On one hand, he HATES how medically inaccurate it is. He's currently in med-school and served as a medical scribe for a couple years beforehand. (And he has a Masters in Bio or Biochem if I'm not mistaken.) On the other hand, he's finished watching everything else he'd like, so The 100 was all he had left. Secretly, I think he enjoys how silly the show is. He's currently on Season 2, which to me marks the beginning of the golden era of the show. I hope he keeps watch at least through Season 4. After that, we'll see.
