    Currently re-watching the 2003-09 Battlestar Gatlactica series as it's now on BBC iplayer.

    Seventeen years on and it's still my favourite TV series of all time!

    ...and it's so good! I mean, the writing is very obvious and predictable, but this show is animated by so much warmth and heart one cannot but love it to pieces. Oh man, karate was huge in the 80s! *nostalgia overload*

    Anything with Billy Zabka gets my vote though I've always been more partial to Back To School or Just One Of The Guys to Karate Kid when it comes to the "William Zabka Trilogy".

    I found that to be the case with the most recent episode I watched but not a huge deal, still quality, and I’ve been told it only gets better. Also, saw @NinjaRen mention that you’re gonna start Mad Men soon. It’s my favorite TV series of all-time, a bit jealous.

    The Witcher (Netflix), really enjoying it, the acting and music are great so far, story is decent but the pacing is a bit off at times.

    Update: Finished season 1 and I gotta say it really, really picks up after a few episodes and the last few episodes do a great job setting up season 2.

    The show is much closer to the books than it is to the games, which definitely works in it's favour.

    Min Diao Ju Yi Wen Lu ili Bureau of Paranormal Investigation, 12 episode donghua (Chinese anime) of which 11 were already released with English subtitles, the last is expected any day now. You can watch it here.

    Synopsis: In the task of catching drug lords in the Yunnan border, a special forces team accidentally enters the ancient caves of the ancient Shu, and intruded on ancient rituals. The squad was almost completely annihilated. Only Shen Shuang and the anti-drug police Sun Desheng survived, as they were rescued by a mysterious white-haired man named Wu Hao. After this incident, the two men accidentally entered the "Civil Affairs Investigation and Research Bureau" and gradually became entangled in more supernatural events, revealing the veil of another world.

    There is more to it than that. I basically see the anime as introduction and expect that they will make more soon. One of our protagonists is possessed by something in the first episode and practically everyone is waiting for him to go bonkers. But I haven't seen an anime I liked in couple of years and I like this. Decent animation (2D/3D combo, more on 2D side), classic character design, the story is nothing innovative, but really watchable. I practically watched it all in breaks between work. So, recommended.

    I spoiled myself on something for the final season of Agents of Shield, and I saw that it's coming to Netflix soon, so I decided to pick it up again last night. Not sure how far I'll get, but I'm enjoying the second half of Season 5.

    Currently rewatching The Mandalorian should get through 2 Episodes a day so I’ll be all set for Friday.

    Also just finished The Boys Season 2.

    Then I’ll probably do a rewatch of His Dark Materials as the new season is out in a couple of weeks.
