Would you want a Star Wars movie by Seth MacFarlane?

    This idea started as a joke, but the more I think about it, the more it seems like a great idea: Would you want to see a Star Wars movie (co)written and directed by Seth MacFarlane?

    It's obvious that the producers of Family Guy are huge fans of Star Wars, and anyone who has seen The Orville knows that Seth can also do "serious" and sci-fi. He has also already directed three theatrical feature films. Do you think he should do a Star Wars movie?

    I'm not entirely sure. I like The Orville, sure. It's more like Star Trek than what I've seen of Discovery (and Lower Decks), but I'd hesitate on calling it good. And Family Guy is...fine...but it's not what it used to be. I'm just not sure I like the idea. If Kennedy and Kasdan weren't entirely on-board with a Han Solo comedy by two people who know comedy, I'm not sure this would be any better.

    So I'm on the "no thanks" side. It's not where I think MacFarlane's strengths lie.

    I would say no. His type of comedy wouldn't work and his shows are too similar. Family Guy and American Dad! is almost the same. He didn't bother changing his voice. I haven't seen Orville so I can't comment about that.

    The dude singing the Titanic in year 2400, painting d**ks on the spaceships or gathering the whole crew for his yearly p*ssing ? Jehovah witnesses jokes with aliens ? A banana rey ? Kermit the Frog ?

    Please just don't !

    Serious Sci Fi is Battlestar Galactica not the Orville.

    No it would be too goofy it would just be Rian Johnson allover again he should just stick to the parodies.
