The difference here is, the one image is a photoshop and the Rey image just shows Rey with her shadow. No other figure to be seen here. But sometimes things like that can actually be used to create something eery. For example this shot:

George Lucas noticed during post-production that Anakin kinda looks like Vader. But never ever was this planned like that. It was just a lucky coincidence.

No it's not Star Wars but hand on heart, would you know that this was Daisy?

Another great book by Pablo, I always thought Kathleen Kennedy wanted a female lead. Didn't know GL wanted it as well? I wish Pablo would pitch a film idea as John Knoll did for Rogue One. Unleash the true storytellers' Star Wars needs it.

I found this nice Rey inspired print on Etsy. Also if you check out the artists store you'll see a few more SW pieces.

Implicitly Pretentious! Yeah he's great. This one has been on my feed for a bit, but I've yet to check it out. If you like Spider-Man, definitely check out his other videos! Just...stay away from the Miles Morales ones unless you want spoilers.

He also did a video about TROS. I know you're a fan of it, so if you watch it, let me know what you think!

A real great interview here with Daisy from the kids at the Queensland Children's Hospital. It's all Star Wars and quite fun. She's not watched The Star Wars Special. She seems very confused with Snoke / Palpatine / Dyad connection and she wanted Rey's family connection to be with Han.

Just seen this online, don't know much about this project, it's been kept hidden to my knowledge. A nice new year surprise. It's a radio drama based on the behind the scenes story of the 1967 film Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, which starred Sidney Poitier . Also looks to have a fantastic cast including Adrian Lester & Kenneth Brannagh

The play airs on Radio 4 on 31 December at 2.13pm

Really hope this is correct, sounds like Daisy has two films going into production this year which is great to see.

“The longer this has gone on, it has just gotten crueler'

-Seriously, she just needs to stay off SM. The people who are complaining -- or who are mean are a vocal minority. They don't like the ST (and never will) and think that all SW films should be like ANH (ie. a western set in space) where Luke and Han are their personal stand ins. They are not interested in good storytelling, character development or growth. There is no pleasing these people, because their hatred isn't rational. A rational person doesn't like something they stop reading/watching and move on to something else and/or wait until a new creative team takes over. They don't harp on about it adnauseum.

Also she would do well to make peace with the fact that characters like Rey ie. Alpha/Sigma females will always be hated. They bring out the insecurities and jealousy in people . Especially someone like Rey who displays the type of resilience that so many people are too lazy/frightened to.

My love for Rey aside, I really like Daisy a lot, I admire her professionalism, intelligence and politeness. A marked change from the bulk of Hollywood actresses I have seen who just make me cringe. She seems to have a good heart. But might well do to learn (like so many of us do eventually) that not everyone is coming from a good place or is as nice as she is.

Here's another great assessment of Rey from The Gold Man:

Addresses Rey, but can easily apply to so many of us.
