I always thought that the Star Wars Battlefront games were amazing because of the "Call of Duty" shooter feel but in the Star Wars Universe. But also because of the war aspect. So a game that focused on the Clone Wars and you can play as any on the main Jedi as you lead your clone army into battle. Obviously it would need a good story to keep the player interested but that would be fun.

Kotor 1&2 remakes. Those games deserve it more than any others.

I love the scene of Din sneaking around the Imperial base and taking out stormtroopers in Chapter 3 of The Mandalorian and would love if we could get a Mandalorian video game with levels like that. It could be part of a game that shows Din’s time as a bounty hunter prior to the start of the show.

Oh geez. Well, I would love an Open World Star Wars game. You pick your faction and let’s say you start off from the bottom.
E.G: You’re an engineer, working on Race Pods on Tatooine. In an accident at the work place, you discover you can manipulate the Force. How nice right? You can get to build your own starship and seek the ways of the force on your own! No master, no anything. Just you, following the ways of the Force. Maybe learn both sides of it? ;)

I think something like GTA 5 but Star Wars would be nothing but great.

Yes! An open world Star Wars game is a must. Create your character, choose your faction, follow down the path you choose. Seems pretty fun to me.

Jedi: Fallen Order sequel. (The reason I consider this made-up is because I highly doubt the story will go this way.)

After the events of the first game, the crew of the Mantis is working with the Resistance in a limited but vital fashion. However, an S.O.S. changes their course forever. The crew arrives at the destination only to find that the Crimson Dawn criminal group hauling off survivors. The crew intervenes, but the captives they try to rescue (mysterious blue aliens with red eyes) sacrifice themselves in order to make sure a little girl escapes with the Cal and co. Greez is slightly injured in the escape, but the girl is able to pilot the ship out of danger. The crew now has a bounty on their head and must escape the clutches of famous bounty hunters while also endeavoring to take this girl back to her home through the unknown regions.

Along the way, the crew of the Mantis will expand, bringing aboard Korkie Kryze (and potentially discovering that his "aunt" Satine was actually his mother, although the father is left to speculation ;)) and several new characters. Each character will have a loyalty mission (or missions) and can be taken on missions.

Throughout the game, Cal's bond with the young pilot will grow deeper, and when they reach her homeworld, the girl will decide that Cal and his group are her new family, and she wants to stay with them. After that, Cal formally acknowledges her as his apprentice, and the Mantis blasts off.

...however, someone - or something - followed them back to the girl's homeworld, and things will never be the same...

    Breakdown:
...if this sounds like Mass Effect in space, it's because it is. I want Mass Effect Star Wars with new awesome graphics and planets and places and stuff to do! But the companion feature was something that I felt was really missing in the first JFO game. Yes, this was Cal's story, but I wanted to see more out of the rest of the cast, especially later in the game. I wanted to interact with them more, and you can't do that with the short time between missions. So I expanded the game and the cast.

I originally wanted this game to
have Qi'ra and Cal team up and take down Maul as the final boss of the game, stranding him on Malachor until Rebels
but the timeline doesn't work out that way. Oh well...

I think a better ME-in-SW would be a post-ST game where Poe tasks a young pilot/agent in hunting down some sort of rogue bad guy...but I have a sort of story for that for any other Star Wars drafts, so I'd like to keep that idea separate for a little while longer.

Same thing but prequel era and you get to choose whether you're a sith jedi clone smuggler pirate or so on and just like live in that era. Obviously that would be really hard to make, but a guy can dream, right?

My idea for a Star Wars Videogame would be the long awaited Kingdom Hearts Crossover with Star Wars.

"Star Kingdom Hearts Wars" (that is a working title).

The idea: Through the power of Darkness one powerful Sith called Sidious was able to ressurect himself and in also ressurect several of his own people as well.

Some people Palpatine ressurected get organised into the following organisation which he secretly controls from the shadows:

    Council of the Galactic Empire

Darth Vader (Leader of the Galactic Empire Council)
Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin (Master Politician and Grand Schemer)
Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo AKA Thrawn (Master of Warfare, Master of Strategy and Tactics in the air, on the ground and underwater)
Darth Tyranus AKA Count Dooku of Serenno (Master of Manipulation and Persuasion and Master Lightsaber Duellist)
Ysanne Isard, Director of Imperial Intelligence (Mistress of Intrigue and Champion in gathering Intelligence)
General Grievous (Expert in Strategic and Tactical Warfare, and professional Jedi Killer)
Darth Nihilus (Black Hole, Absorber of Life, Person of Mass Destruction and keeping the destroyed and the dead working)

They start to wage War on the New Republic, putting a lot of pressure on the young state while at the same time united the splintered Imperial factions and Warlords under their banner. But they wouldn't not only use the their usual military power but also the Heartless and the power of Darkness in many ways. Luke Skywalker researching the Heartless would eventually discover information about the Light and the Keyblade but also learn that the Darkness is close to the Dark Side of the Force while the Light Side of the force is closer to the Light. Skywalker learns that the "Keyblade Knights" once visited this galaxy and fought alongside the Jedi to stop a group of Sith who used the Darkness and the Heartless for themselves. After their victory the Keyblade Knights founded a temple in this galaxy to be ready if the Heartless and the Darkness would return. They did a few times but after a while the threat did not return the Keyblade Knights diminished in numbers until none were there anymore. Luke with the help of the other masters tries to reach the Keyblade Knights with the force and are succesful at contacting Master Aqua...

Some time later Sora, accompanied by Donald and Goofy is send to Coruscant to meet Luke Skywalker and Mon Mothma to talk with them about the situation and help them fight against Darkness, Heartless and the Council of the Galactic Empire.

So much for the backstory. The Gameplay would be played like most KH games. Many peope Sora meets knows about Keyblade Wielders and their mission either already or later.
Companions on the different worlds Sora visits will be famous heroic Star Wars Characters. Boss battles can be the members of the council in Question, other imperials,
    Bounty Hunters and other villains.

Luke Skywalker could use the light also to counter-balance Palaptine and bring back famous heroes.
Yoda, Padme Amidala, Anakin, Mace Windu, General Madine, Ton Phanan and so more.

And Sora could also meet the Star Wars heroes who live as well of course, they may even accompany him for a while. Admiral Ackbar, Lando Calrissian, Mara Jade, Wedge Antilles and Rogue Squadron, Garik "Face" Loran and Wraith Squadron and so forth.
Also cool Combo-Team attacks with many of them.

Not to mention the chances for great service Moments like Grand Moff Tarkin finally meeting Luke, the guy who killed him, Padme punching Vader in the face and Anakin and Vader having a battle to just name a few possibilities.
And yes, Anakain and Vader are two different people, seperated from each other so Return of the Jedi is not invalidated.

There is also place for an Arena. Maybe the one on Geonosis lead by a ressurected Poggle the Lesser.

About planets to visit... Any you want. Coruscant, Kashyyyk, Yavin 4, Kooriban and more.

There can also be great space battles, better than in any other Kingdom Hearts game so far.

There is also a option of making Sora a Jedi but I am not sure if it should happen. Maybe Donald & Goofy should become Jedi?
When they don't get their own Keyblades they should get lightsaber weapon variants of their magic staff and shield respetively instead.

And.... Well, it would be a fun sci-fi adventure set in the era of the New Republic for the most part. When exactly?
Probably some time after the defeat of the "Second Imperium" so the Organa-Solo-Skywalker Children are already born.
The Yuuzhan Vong would be perfect for a sequel.

    About Heartless:
They can look similar to Stormtroopers, Sith Lords and types of villains from the Franchise. They can also take the forms similar of various Star Wars creatures. Not to mention forms of Imperial Warmachines froM Star Destroyers to little TIE-Fighters. Also looking similar to famous Star Wars Alien Species.

And especially important: Kairi should be part of it as well. She could be playable in some side missions and actually win fights against bosses and succeed at what she does as a Keyblade Wielder for a change.

The number of possibilities that could be happening, what the content in such a KH game could be are gigantic. I can't write them all down it would be too much for now.

So, what do you guys think of this Kingdom Star Wars Hearts (another working title) idea?

Picture this an open-world game single player with up to 4 player co-op. You customize your character with insane customization and jump into the world as an immature bounty hunter trying to make a name for himself/herself. You go on an insane journey where every choice you make affects the story.

Story-You are a new bounty hunter going to make a name for himself. After a couple bountys you go on a bounty that changes your life. During the bounty the man you are trying to capture is assassinated by a sniper you chase down the sniper and tackle them. It is a imperial sniper. After further questioning you learn about a conspiracy in the empire. What will you do, will you join the empire, tell the rebels, or figure things out for yourself. No matter what you chose you will be sucked into a world of war, mystery, and lots of credits.

I've love a mission-based lite RPG with couch and online co-op.

Some of my favorite gaming memories come from the admittedly average game Lord of the Rings: War in the North. Playing this with my wife (girlfriend, at the time) was just so much fun.

Basically, you'd have a story progressed through via a series of missions, with a few choices here and there that could affect the ending. Players choose from a variety of maybe four or five character classes, with unchosen characters serving as AI. For this game, let's say a Mandalorian or other trooper as the typical soldier class, a Jedi padawan nearing knighthood for utility/support, perhaps a wookiee or other burly alien as a heavy/shock class, an astromech that is able to interact with a ton of environmental hazards (deactivating traps or activating advantages), and perhaps some sort of long range or CQB class.

Each mission could be branching, but still relatively linear. As players go, they can loot or buy gear that improves stats and changes their appearances. Additionally, as they level up, their health marginally increases, attacks get slightly better, and they gain new abilities. Between missions, they return to their freighter and prepare for another mission.

I think there could be a lot of eras that this could work in, but the Clone Wars could be a lot of fun. Familiar, yet flexible enough to allow for this type of story.

Yeah, I'm really shocked there hasn't been a recent major open-world game yet, online or not. Star Wars Galaxies counts, I suppose, but I never played it (that game closed when I was 5 lol). Star Wars is one of the most open-worldy franchises I can think of. I'm playing Jedi: Fallen Order right now and it only has the illusion of being open-world. In reality it's pretty linear and there's only one specific way to go explore each planet. You can unlock shortcuts... but only after getting to the location through the intended way first. I think I had one moment in the game in the second tomb you explore in Zeffo where I managed to glitch through the wall and it teleported me to another area after I fell. Probably the only time I went against the intended "route" of the game. ...That's not to say I don't enjoy the game - I think it's very good, but it's nowhere near a true open-world game.

I really do think the best option for an open-world sandbox Star Wars game is an MMO. People can create their own stories, roleplay, and form groups. Story wouldn't be a major part of the game like it is for SWTOR. It's either primarily a story game or it isn't. Open world sandbox and "plot-driven" tend to not mesh well unless you have a decade to make the game or something. No tab-targeting combat; either, I believe action-based combat would be the best simply because it's modern, less complicated, and appeals to a larger number of people. However, there should be a viable playstyle where you can go through the majority of the game without fighting much at all. There shouldn't be a huge mob of hostile NPCs 5 inches out of town. PvP being optional is a must, too, or else a lot of people are going to decide to miss out on the game.

I want a game where you're basically a Splinter Cell in the galaxy of Star Wars. You could be an Imperial Agent (and if you have the Force, you'd be an Imperial Hand like Mara Jade pre-Luke); a Rebel Agent (and if you have the Force, you're a Jedi come in from the cold, like Kyle Katarn - yeah, just gimme Kyle Katarn, yo); a neutral agent (like a Mando or other assassin, and if you have the Force, you'd be like Aurra Sing). You just go to all kinds of cities and communities and bases and asteroid bases and infiltrate, find, assassinate, collect data, steal stuff, sabotage, fly out, maybe even some starfighting. Meet with your handler and turn stuff over, get paid, all kinds of things. I can't believe this hasn't happened already. They could repurpose the resources from 1313 (a canceled game from years ago) to do this.

He could be operating his scheme from his office and other locations, sending out agents and instructions and moving his chess pieces while getting advice from Plagueis. It would be like a real-time strategy thing, and not totally dissimilar to Rebellion (1997).
    --- Double Post Merged, Feb 7, 2023 ---
How about a Star Wars answer to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege? Some Rebels are holed up someplace and the Stormtroopers have to get in there and take them out...
