    Hmmm yea. I've always respected your commentary. To be honest I hadn't planned on watching it and your input kind of drives me further not to do so which is fine of course. It just doesn't feel my speed. Maybe one day I'll be pleasantly suprised.

    I used to love this show and read stuffs like Chariots of Gods from Von Danikken...

    ....but then I started to travel a little bit more to countries like Mexico (Chichen Itza, Palenque, Teotihuacan, etc), Peru (Machu Picchu, Sacsuahayaman, Coricancha, Caral,etc...), Egypt (Giza, Saqqara, Abu Simbel, Luxor, etc). Most of these visits I always paid for a guide and...voilà! More informations about the culture and how they used to construct most of these monuments, by humans hands!
    Now all theses theories about how aliens helped to build some of these pyramids and monuments just make me laugh!

    True but it's a fun show that makes you wonder. Some stuff may or may not actually have some truth behind it. There's just some episodes that are thought provoking and not all about aliens building our civilization. Could be visits or other things through out history. The ancient pyramids and stuff could still actually be both ways and we won't ever know for sure but it's fun to think about possibilities.

    This show is much better than most generic alien/ufo documentaries

    Yet another show i had almost zero interest in but ended up watching at the behest and persuasion of my girlfriend...and ended up really enjoying it! I'm not crazy about the MCU but this show is shaping up to be my favourite in the entire series. Kind of mind-blown, honestly...

    If it matters to you, they completely turned me around, completely. If you can live through the first three episodes (not my speed), four and five will be worth it. They even make the first three better. I went from 'I don't effing care' to 'give me the next episode'. I should have trusted them, I guess.

    Still on my Asian kick. This time Chinese show again - Douluo Continent. This is a fantasy show with wuxia flavor I can best describe as anime-come-to-life.

    The drama is based on a popular novel, has a donhua (anime) that is still airing (the episodes are in 100+) and is generally popular IP in China because it fosters desirable qualities: hard work, honesty, bravery etc. For a Westerner, who is still somewhat better educated on Chinese culture in general, this is a fun romp that is easy to watch with likable characters and decent VFX on a TV budget. I am sure an expert like @Viral Hide would disagree, but to my layman's eye it looks good. The Visual Effects Supervisor worked on several big movies like Avengers and Hunger Games.

    Basic premise is that main character lives isolated with his alcoholic father who refuses to tell him what happened to his mother. He teaches him martial arts that he must never uncover to anyone. Some people on Douluo Continent have Martial Souls and can become Soul Masters. When his Martial Soul awakens, the father tells Tang San to become the strongest and then he will reveal the truth about his mother. Tang San goes to join a school, meets many friends along the way and together they advance in the martial world. (And hopefully eventually uncover the truth.)

    It doesn't require much brain power, just to pay a bit attention. It's free on YouTube with English subs (choose the preferred subtitles by clicking CC), one new episode per day, forty 40-minute episodes. So far, 5 were released.     Just finished the first season of The Great/Ted Lasso. Both are excellent, but I'm stunned at how good Ted Lasso turned out. I thought it was going to be dreadful, but it's fantastic. Funny and has a ton of heart.
