I remember previously owning a copy of the Star Wars Action Figure Archive. At the time, I was NEET so action figures wasn't exactly high on my fiscal priorities. But it was interesting to see this world. For example, prototypes are very collectable as are instances where there is a defect for example if the 'wrong' dye is used. Hopefully when I get a job I will be able to explore this for myself.

Having watched a documentary Toy Empire: The British Force Behind Star Wars Toys on BBC, it is interesting to note how competitive things were with regards to the toy market at that time, how the deal with Palitoy was made and how key events at this time shaped how films and toys were marketed in the decades since.

Look on the bright side, you were alive when the prequel and sequel toys were made so that must count for something right? Hello...

    Hello Friends,

I made a purchase recently of some vintage Hasbro figures and received the package. To my surprise there is a figure in the set which I cannot identify, it is in 3.75 scale and looks like some sort of Empire military.

    On the legs is written:

    2008 LFL C-001C
    HASBRO CHINA

    Pictures below.

I also got a strange Yoda figure with microphone which is not to scale. It's a bit bigger than 3.75" scale.

    Hey there collecting gurus...

I have an original Luke Skywalker with DT lightsaber that I'm putting up for auction on eBay later today, but I have no idea what it might be worth. I've seen items like this sell for anywhere between $100 and $1,200 or more.

The one I'm selling is in near-mint condition, with a nearly perfect lightsaber (no kinks or bends in it of any kind). So I'm assuming that means I should expect to receive a price towards the higher end of that price range? Perhaps even more?

I just want to be sure I don't get ripped off because I know I will never be able to replace it with another one in such fine condition. Can anyone give me an idea of what I should expect to get for it?

    Thanks for your input!

    Hello,

I have a 1985 EV-9D9 that has 2 left arms. This was one of my kids toys so I'm not sure how this happened. I've checked around & couldn't find any history of a factory error. Does anyone know where I
    might find a right arm?
The photo shows the right leg missing but I just picked one up on ebay.

    Thanks for any help!!!

I was wondering if anyone could share their expertise. With all the printing technology out there, what are the ways to tell if a figure has been re packaged in a printed card or resealed? Basically, what are some ways that you can tell if the card is a fake? Thank you all for your time.

OMG! That got me right in the childhood! I used to own most of these, and played them to bits. So much love <3

I just feel much belated, mild jealousy for the figures pictured which I was never lucky enough to own... most of those shown in 2nd photo (i.e. B-Wing pilot and the last wave released), Snaggletooth and ...wait for it, Stormtrooper. Yep, never got one! I had Snow and Scout Trooper, but never an OG buckethead! :D
