I personally loved this episode. For starters, we got Rex. I mean it was not too exciting because we all knew that we’d be getting him eventually. He was in the trailer. Classic helmet and blue armor. Pretty funny too when all he characters were basically calling Rex a boomer lol. In addition, Im absolutely in love with Bracca in this show. I has played Jedi Fallen Order. Great game btw. Having bracca in more of a relevant fashion makes the planet now more well known and cannon-like if that makes sense. I thought for a second, “Will we see Kal?” But I don’t feel like Kal would be necessary. I mean, first of all, it looks like we are gonna get back to Crosshair soon. Secondly, this show won’t be a show to have a new face every episode. Seeing Kal might be exiting but sort of unoriginal. Don’t get me wrong, I want Kal. But I don’t need Kal. Hopefully that makes sense. Anyway, the episode was good. The group seemed to have removed their inhibitor chips, so that problem is checked off. Omega and Wrecker are just so amazing. This show is really highlighted this relationship. It makes you think, who is more of the child. Little Omega or big strong wrecker. One of my new fav episodes from TBB.

I expected this with Wrecker very soon and knew it would be very temporarily but it was still a kick to the nuts and stomp to the heart seeing Wrecker go terminator on the bad batch and chase Omega like that and he was even about to shoot her close range! The end with Omega and Wrecker was hitting me in the feels in a good way though and it was all so well done. Glad to finally have the chip stuff out of the way!

Bracca! Awesome to see more of it like this. I wasn't expecting Kal and him showing up or not is fine either and it's still a treat to see Bracca and knowing he's out there somewhere as a kid during this episode.

I thought that creature was a dianoga too. However, the Review posting of the ep on this site said it was a sarlaac, but dianoga was the first thing that came to mind for obvious reasons.

    Um...
I had subtitles on and those clearly labled the creature a dianoga. "Sarlacc" must surelly have been a mistake of some kind, 'cause this was not that.

Yeah I didn’t think a sarlac would live in aquatic biomes.

Just watched the latest episode - and Loki - with my friend! Of the past few weeks, this has been by far my favorite one, for obvious reasons. We had a lot of fun pointing out the comparisons to other Star Wars movies with this one (...and making fun of TROS while we were at it...). Overall, this was a great carryover from last week's plot, and set up a few nice things going forward.

REX!! Rex was easily the highlight of the episode, and I wish he stayed with the crew instead of being a cameo, but I guess he has to find Gregor and Wolffe...or maybe The Bad Batch find them and send them Rex's way.

There's also the fact that this episode used the "it's not your fault, it's the chip's fault" story arc that may have been used for Crosshair down the line. While they still could use it, and have Wrecker be the empathetic one, I think this is more of a sign that Crosshair will be a martyr by the end of the season. I wish it wasn't that way, but I'm not holding my breath either.

Next up Wrecker! This was by far my favorite Wrecker episode so far, and I enjoyed how it carried over Wrecker's injury from the last episode into a good plot arc for this one. I've been hard on Wrecker in the past, but it's because I don't want him to fall in the same pit I've seen other Star Wars characters fall into. I like when characters are challenged, and this episode really challenged the big lug.

Lastly, the bounty hunting aspect. This episode didn't drop that component fully - the whole cold open was dedicated to the bounty hunting stuff. But it didn't feel as present as it has for the past two episodes, which is a good thing. I'm still worried they won't drop it completely, but we'll see what happens.

    Bounty Hunting…

I know some folks think this is getting a little too close to Madalorian. But what is a group of soldiers who were born and bred to execute dangerous missions who suddenly find themselves without a war to fight and disillusioned with the current power structure to do?

They need to eat, they need a roof over their heads and they need some space to figure stuff out. Doing jobs for Cid makes sense. I think the space to figure stuff out will make them and the show interesting. We started to see some of that in ep6.

Pretty good episode all around! Probably the third best of the season so far, I’m excited to see where it goes from here.

It was awesome seeing my boy Rex again. I’m wondering what he’s up to at this point and who he was communicating with at the end; as someone else pointed out, it doesn’t really make much sense for him to be trying to fight with the early Rebel Alliance because of Star Wars Rebels. Maybe they’re setting up a Kamino rebellion and when the clones get hit hard by the full might of the Empire, Rex gives up on all of it and goes to retire on Seelos with Gregor and Wolffe.

Seeing Bracca again was great. It’s one of my favorite planet designs in the Disney “era” and so far, we’ve only seen it in Jedi: Fallen Order, the novel Resistance Reborn and now here. I definitely wouldn’t say no to seeing a Cal Kestis cameo or at least Prauf.

The scene with Wrecker fighting under the influence of the inhibitor chip was downright horrifying. Choking the life out of his brothers and acting seriously was a great way of showing how the chips completely changed the personality and demeanor of the clones. I am a bit disappointed that this Wrecker/chip plot thread is seemingly done as it could’ve been a bigger deal than it was.

They could also ignore the practical problems entirely, and wouldn't be the first Star Wars product to do so. Or show them on the run and helping out people, who feed them in return. Or show them stealing supplies. Or they could have gone a different direction for the show, and have the Bad Batch be the ones who decide that they need something to fight for. I still don't think bounty hunting is entirely necessary, but it's practical and lucrative (for Lucasfilm, not always in-world), so it's the new shortcut.
But it's not just the bounty-hunting aspect. You have the whole "new father with new priorities" view as wells, and it's only one degree of separation from The Mandalorian at best. TBB was also the first big Star Wars show after The Mandalorian to be released, so comparisons are there to make because it's the latest thing on the mind.

Yeah these little episodes where they are doing jobs for Cid are just set up episodes. Of course, these clones needed to settle down and lay low for a bit. These jobs will start to intensify and we will get to reach a climax in the story eventually. Also these episodes are giving us looks at some familiar faces. Excited to see where this show takes us :)

Sorry if this is still considered a big spoiler but the scrap yard guards need to get stitches in the next episode for snitching!

Also, hell nah when Wrecker wakes up and Echo says "oh you made it" :D

An excellent episode! Possibly one of my favorite Star Wars outings to date :D

This episode did so many things well. Instead of having the BB be super heroes, Reunion allows them to struggle and frequently fail, having to double back and try something else. Their oposition is formidable and there is real tension in this episode. Definitelly the "darkest hour" point of the show (unless they'll rub it in and have several episodes in a row there things just continue to grew worse and worse and worse). Crosshair and his goons were great, but of course, Cad Bane completely steals the show. By having him dispatch Hunter (isn't Hunter like the super-quick of the BB bunch?), the makers proves to us how very dangerous he is, as well as establishing that getting Omega back is going to be very difficult for the BB.

    Questions & thoughts:
--Still no resolution to the dianoga. I bet the BB will return to Bracca later and use the creature in some way. (Perhaps this is even the same dianoga that find its way onto the DS-1 at some point? Helped by the BB? That would be difficult ground to thread, thought.)
--Those Scrappers Guilders that were left stunned and bound? Yeah, their story can't end there so they're definitelly coming back. I bet Crosshair frees them and learn something valuable from the scrappers.
--I'm willing to bet good credits that Cad Bane and Fennec Shand are not working for the same contractor. Furthermore, I'm positive that Shand is a good-gall that will end up helping Omega in some way.
--I wonder how Cad Bane located Omega and the BB? Of course, this could simply be a case of Bounty Hunter ex Machina, but perhaps we'll learn some interesting insights into Bane's hunt later.

--And finally... by the gods, this show looks beautiful!

I reckon he’d be a much better shot if he wasn’t struggling to peer through that tiny visor of his :D
What needs to be resolved with the Dianoga?

Holy cow! That was an excellent episode. Last episode we got rex, now we got Bane. Couldn’t ask for more. And now Hunter may be hurt. I wonder why Hunter didn’t die from that blast from Bane. I hop he is ok, but i feel that when people survive gunshots here in SW, it is making blasters less useful ya know. Anyway, the plot is moving now. After all, now the Bad Batch crew will prob go after Omega. Can’t wait to see where this goes. My prediction, bane dies. And is Crosshair also Dengar??? Kinda looked alike at the end. Speculation maybe??? Lol
