By the way, did anybody else notice that different characters pronounce Omega's name differently? It reminds me a lot of the Han - Lando thing. :)

That's my guess. A Mandolorian queen, for a Mandalorian army--clone or not.

It can tie into Obi Wan, and The Mandolorian...

I really like that Omega is adapting quickly to any situation and is a fast learner. She's actually been helpful and not simply a cute innocent little girl that needs saving for everything all the time as she has managed to hold her own enough. She has a long way to go but by the end of the series, I think she'll be a strong fighter and survivor despite being so young.

I do not think she is a force sensitive either. If she was, it would completely undermine the idea that Luke was the last of the jedi after yoda died. That idea carried a lot of emotional weight during the end of the OT. She’ll probably turn put like a female Boba or Jango. Like Sabine.

She might not be force sensitive, but there's something special about her, either way. There's some Kamino secret surrounding her, either coming from whose clone she is, or how she was "made".

Right. Thats what I like about her right now. She is ambiguous. And others know little about her as well. I predict that she will be really important come later in the season.

The last episode (with the rancor) again supports my theory that she is force sensitive. When none of the bad batch knew who Sid was, Omega instantly went up to her and said “You’re sid aren’t you?” That was kinda suspicious.
Omega is becoming my favorite character in the show, all because of the mystery surrounding her purpose and overall part as a whole. But I hope they don’t drag out this mystery to the last episode (like Rey’s parentage. I’ve grown tired of the “mystery box” strategy of Disney’s Star Wars.)

Something else I haven’t heard get mentioned- is she a growth-accelerated clone? Because if so, it’s possible that by the end of this series, she can fight as a full-grown adult woman beside Wrecker, Tech, and the rest of them.

Michelle Ang is from New Zealand. James Arnold Taylor is an American, but he is impersonating Temuera Morrison, who is another New Zealander. So yeah - there’s a lot going on with accents.

By the way, even though I played Ratchet & Clank today, I had no idea that James Arnold Taylor is also the voice of Ratchet until I looked him up for this post. :D

I don’t think Omega is force sensitive. Her knowing who sid is was shown as comedic affect i always thought. I mean, the clones didn’t know and then Omega, the little kid used her noggin. It also shows how she holds the team together in some ways. Maybe she is force sensitive. I don’t think so, but maybe.

Doesn’t Ashoka and Ezra already do that? It’s at least heavily implied Ezra is still out there to be found (Ashoka’s searching for Thrawn in Mandolorian).

Ahsoka wasn’t a jedi during Mando. When she left the Jedi order, she became something different. And for Ezra, I guess you make a point there, but adding Omega would just add on to this. Idk. Good point though.

That’s what confuses me. True, she left the Jedi Order…..
    And yet…
That Mandalorian episode was titled: “The Jedi.”
And who’s voice appears to Rey at the end of ROS? Among others, Ahsoka Tano.

Well, she used the force for good. Thats for sure. But she has stopped referring to herself as a jedi after she was expelled from the order. A plot hole maybe??? Idk.

Yeah I guess it’s all about what the definition of a Jedi is. If you have all the abilities and follow the principles of a Jedi but quit the club, are you still a Jedi if you walk like one and quack like one?

I have no clue, but Ashoka could be called a jedi… from a certain point of view. :p(obi-wan 4)

So Omega is a pure, unaltered clone of Jango, yet she's ... a blond girl? And what was with the "extra-sensory," almost hinting-at-a-Force-user vibes they teased? The Fetts had no powers besides just being good bounty hunters. I'm suddenly not tracking. I'm guessing this is their way to shoehorn Boba into this series or her into his?

She's old enough that she could've had her hair colored. Hair color doesn't always have to be about genetics. I wouldn't use the word shoehorn, but yes I think will see her as adult, possibly live action as well.

When Rogue One was about to come on screen, and we were shown some teasers and trailers, I stumbled about Saw Gerrera eye color : they are blue in animated TCW, they are black in the movie.

There have been a lot of speculation about this colou rchange : why and when and how, and overall, it is absolutely not possible on Earth.
It quickly came to the ultimate argument : "It's the Force".

Big year in Disney+ for genetically identical copies who inexplicably have a different gender and hair color

    So I've got some questions...

In episode 15 (Return to Kamino), we learn that Omega remembers the Bad Batch being "enhanced" in Nala Se's secret lab...

    1. So if the lab was secret, does this mean that
    • Nala Se pretended she did the genetic work in a regular lab but didn't? Does this mean she intended the Bad Batch to resist the chip and/or for some other purpose?
    • poor 99 was the first (failed) round of this experimentation? (The BB were named after him, right?)

    2. If Omega was made in the secret lab, why was she not hidden away afterwards? How did Nala Se explain her? How did Lama Su know Omega had the "pure Jengo genes" that he sent Cad Bane after her for?

    3. Omega is older than the Bad Batch, since she remembers them being created, but she just doesn't have the rapid aging gene? (No wonder she calls them brothers rather than dads!)

I'm still trying to figure all this out, since genetics seem to work differently in the GFFA than they do here... :p
