This isn't directly Rey related. But I came across this video that outlines the traits of a 'High Valued woman'. I thought that I would post it here given many of the traits apply to Rey (and probably Daisy too).

This figure looks just perfect! How much it cost?

I was watching some reviews of galaxy sabers on youtube and I saw some of the staff-saber.
People are complaining about the switch turn it on-off. Its not accurate as seeing in the movie.
Also they are saying that the hilt is to clear, in the movie it is darker.
But in general this hilt is receiving goods reviews.

Need to make a brief comment concerning the saber at the right side of the pic you posted, Leia's saber:
Most of the people are complaining about the colour, too orange. And also how it looks like plastic. I personally disliked and it was a big let down for me because this is probably the most beautiful saber created so far for the saga. If i buy it it will be from another company.

No that's going to be played by Brooklynn Prince, Joey is playing her daughter, Garrett Hedlund is playing Daisy's husband and father to the child.

This was reported awhile ago. But Daisy has done the voice over for an interactive game called 12 minutes. Here's a promo:

I think the game has just come out, I haven't played it but I have watched the uploaded videos on YT. It's like a psychological film noire film where you have to piece together what's going on. For those of you who like(d) The Last Jedi and films or shows that make you think and have depth should really enjoy this. And yes the voice acting is amazing, Daisy does a great job not only nailing an American accent, but also conveying emotion and fleshing out the character through her voice. More evidence to silence the haters that she's a one trick pony and can't get out of the shadow of SW.

 

Another insightful video from Alux that I thought would apply to Rey in a roundabout way. ( Rey also translates to King in Spanish , and the name was changed just as they were about to start filming ) But it can also apply to some of the other SW characters who have been great leaders.

 

This is from the ROTJ novel:

Flashes, hiding, parting embraces. That's Jodie Comer and little Rey.

The thing is, this real mother wasn't Padme. Of course, this 'real mother' idea c.1983 was abandoned, but...

Rey was once inside a womb, and that womb belonged to a woman. Is that woman Jodie Comer or not? We know about Padme and Shmi and Leia being the real mothers of Luke&Leia and Anakin and Ben, but when it comes to Rey, that certainty is lacking.

The films offer an alternative. In ROTJ, Luke almost turned into Dark Luke. In TROS, Rey killed (and healed) Kylo, and saw the danger of becoming Dark Rey.

The idea of Dark Luke had been hinted at on the Dagobah scene. Vader was Dark Luke. The mask explodes, and we see Hamill's face inside it.

Of course, the idea was also Luke=Vader. Family. Luke knew it to be true at a subconscious level. He felt it.

So, who is Dark Rey besides Rey? She wears no mask, and looks exactly like Rey. But unlike Dagobah Vader, she speaks.

'Don't be afraid of who you are'. That came from Rey herself -Dark Rey is just a reflection.

Leia had spoken that line to her. If Rey felt Han to be the father he never had, then Leia...

'The dead speak!'.

'Palpatine killed my mother', says Rey. But we don't see it. 'And my father', she adds. But in the father is killed first and we don't even see Jodie Comer being killed.

'Killed', in this theory, would be a metaphor. 'Your son is dead', says Kylo to Han. Luke's father was dead once...he was 'killed' too.

Abrams created Alias by the way. Sydney Bristow and Rey, also created by Abrams, are similar...and Sydney

Sydney is some kind of Chosen One and there's a prophecy involved.

Garret Hedlund is a good actor, nice to see she's working with someone who knows their stuff. This film sounds genuinely interesting.

 

I mean, I don't know where to keep posting information on Daisy's new projects. I don't know if there is another page, not just Daisy but for the other actors too. If you are a Daisy fan then there is a lot to look forward to. She shot two films back to back last year. The first one being The Marsh King's Daughter. All seems to be good on that front, nuch better than Chaos Walking murmurs which were sounding shaky.

Her second film she is also producing which is also shot and in post production is an indie film called Sometimes I think about dying. You might have already heard of that because it was an Oscar nominated short script by Alex Sacks, Alex is also directing and scripting this extended version. They're now making it into a feature film and it does sound exciting in the fact, she will have to rely on her acting and not special effects . I do think this is going to be something really different from her which we will be able to see properly her amateur dramatic skills and it's something she can really get her teeth into.

Thirdly she's doing a stop motion animation with Stephen Fry called The Inventor. A kids film about Leonardo Da Vinci. This might take a little while to get to our screens because stop motion animation takes a long time to film. That will be in 2023 at the earliest and she's also singing in that which is also something to look forward to.

She did a charity who done it theater production a few days ago which was unscripted. That was the one where she belly danced with a woman and married her. So I bet that was fun to watch.

There are also rumours but they seem only to be rumours at this point that she's got another film in preproduction but I will hold back from reporting on because that might be wrong but there are strong vibes across social media something is happening but don't quote me on that. But fingers 'crossed' for that one.

But nope don't believe the Fandumb Menace YouTube vide accounts and twitter nazis saying she's unemployed and black listed. They're yet more lies and slander just designed to ruin an actress because they don't like the sequel trilogy. It's nothing more than bullying and a campaign to destroy her. I have no idea why they want to do this but they do.
