    I love the gritty cyberpunk series of the 1980s as well as sweeping epics like Lodoss Saga, Berserk, Legend of the Galactic Heroes and a whole bunch of others and am wondering whether it would be good if not desirable to have an anime adaptation of Star Wars.

    I have seen how other adaptations worked notably:
    • Halo
    • Dead Space
    • Dante's Inferno
    • Castlevania
    All of which I liked.

    It is not without precedent as there are already manga adaptations of the films of the Star Wars saga, novels like the upcoming Legends of Luke Skywalker manga as well as new series like Lost Stars (on my to-read list).

    Same guy did animations on R-Type and Street Fighter- managing to make M Bison look even sexier (if that is at all possible).

    Yes, absolutely, a Star Wars anime (if done properly) would be epic. Frankly I dream of an Old Republic Anime. Here is another Star Wars Anime video

    I think so, I'd like to see if the concept will change totally or partially. My main categories are anime and Turkish series.IDK how it was received, it is not in my will. My favorite anime always remains Death Note, I even recommend it for those who have not yet watched it. If we talk about the Turkish series, then the most impressed me Ask Laftan Anlamaz. I cried and laughed, a perfect combination, in my opinion, right? The best site to watch these series for me remains https://turkiseries.com/ . I started looking with subtitles because I'm interested in learning their language.

    No thanks. Anime is nice for that style but I don't think it will wok with SW. I don't need Luke to look like a blond Trunks or Obi-Wan that look likes Master Roshi with hair

    I think anime-esque series (ala Teen Titans, Avatar: The Last Airbender/The Legend of Korra, the Boondocks, etc) would work better than straight-up anime, but I wouldn't mind either if the story fits the medium. (My own ideas for a Star Wars show indeed involve the anime-esque medium.)

    I mean we are getting an anime series of sorts. Of short films and short films can range from being like 5 minutes to 40 minutes

    Seems like a natural fit to me. 'Star Wars: Visions' will be the proofing ground I guess.

    I love lightsabers so I maybe biased but I would love a Star Wars anime. Surprised I have really enjoyed Clone Wars and Rebels and glad they didn't pull all their punches but a properly done Anime would be amazing.
