And who he apparently planned to betray anyway. "I am more powerful than the chancellor. I can overthrow him."

Oh, it certainly was absent from the film(s) except when the characters reminded us, directly via the script. The novel(s) were SLIGHTLY better (RotS especially) at fleshing out Anakin's relationship(s). I was just being semi-snarky about it. Also, Dooku sucks.

His name certainly did, it made me laugh whenever I heard it, and although I love Mace, why did they give him the surname 'Windu'....?

Interestingly, Mace is one of the first names George came up with way back in 1973 - Mace Windu, the Jedi-Bendu :D

He sent Windu out a window. Teehee. Reminds me of the Clone Wars character Ima-Gun Di. Spoiler . . . . . . he dies.

IIRC: the very first version of the character was named - Mace Towani.

I'm just invested in reading the thoughts of Star Wars fans back in 2015 when it was revealed Disney isn't using George Lucas's ideas for the sequel trilogy. Reading these 8 years later + Lucas revealing his original sequel trilogy vision, I don't know how to describe the feeling I'm having right now but these messages for sure have aged like milk

Disney executives have proven time and again that they are not to bright at making movies. Maybe they should focus on improving the cotton candy at the parks?

How so? TFA, TLJ, RO and Solo are at least excellent movies.

Personally, I had no idea that there was an issue with substandard cotton candy.

I was served a cold corndog at Epcot in 2019, but they assured me it was in no way a reflection of Disney as a corporation, and they promised me that slightly cool weiner was absolutely NOT any indicator of a slightly disappointing movie later that year. We're they lying to me? Is ol' "puddin-fingers" Ronnie right about them?

I have all three of the books. TROS might have been one of the most disappointing cinema experiences in my life, but the book is beautiful and stunning to look at. All of these books are worth the money.

Whether i like the film or not, the Art of Star Wars books are treasures to behold. I could not afford the original trilogy hard covers, but I got the prequel and sequel trilogy HCs, and the Disney+ and Solo HC.
