Just passed by an store yesterday and I got this last edition for TPM on bluray. All the movies were rereleased like one or two years ago. Just bought TPM because its the only one that I like from the prequels and because of the extras.

But why the quality of most of the extras content in the disc have such a poor quality? It was always like this on DVD and I don't remember? Any other reason for that? Hope the movie itself its in a good quality!

This is the version I am talking about:

They were shot on film, and required a more drawn out process which the studio didn't pay for.. i've noticed other movies around this era had bad looking deleted scenes.

@Grand Admiral Kraum it is also due to format transfers from film/VHS to DVD to Blu-Ray/Digital. We didn't notice it on DVD because those are not the HD quality of BluRay. As far as we knew, at the time, it all looked fine. As a film, the quality should be fine. It is the exact same copy as the 2011 Bluray set.

Unfortunately they did not bother to remaster the deleted scenes in HD :( and it's too bad they didn't think ahead and just finish them off at the time of making the DVD in HD. I particularly wish they had done so for AOTC and ROTS.
I forget, but some of the inteview type extras might have been shot on NTSC cameras and would be locked into lores.
