Sorry for spamming... (not sorry!), but I'm still high off of the gig this weekend, but here are some pictures :D

Sorry, but I get a bit of attention on the stage, being all theatrical-like:

@Angelman You are an enigma wrapped in a riddle wrapped in a mystery. Mild mannered historian by day.....morphs into heavy metal rocker extraordinaire at night! I still think you are a superhero....prove me wrong!! LOL

OH AND PILGRIM IS A KICK A$$ song!!!

@Angelman does your band name (Leper Messiah) come from that Metallica song ?

No, but EVERYBODY thinks so. We're called "Leper Messiah" after the David Bowie song Ziggy Stardust, and the phrase:

    Making love to his ego,
Ziggy was sucked up into his mind,
    Like a Leper Messiah.

If I'm not mistaken, the Metallica song is named after the same phrase in Ziggy Stardust, but we've got nothing to do with Metallica.

Heh heh, pretty much, yes ;) Our music sits somewhere between glam rock & hard rock, so the Black Album might fit us well :p

    And so i understand you're the lead singer/frontman , correct ?

Am I mistaken, or do I clearly ear a piano or sort of keys, especially in "Pilgrims", but I don't see any on stage ?

Yeah, there's a couple of things in the album mix that we don't do on stage. We used a simple keyboard on 2-3 songs on the album, IIRC, but that was just to fill out the soundscape. We sound a bit different live, often harder and faster.

Yeah, I'm the singer. I also play the tamburin

I still think you sound a lot like Ric Ocasek from The Cars. One part of Pilgrim is very “Cars-esque”….which is great by me as the Cars rocked!

A compliment well received! :D Thank you, sir :)

Another fun thing we did last Saturday was debuing a new song, a work-in-progress tune called "The Crossroad Man". It's a song about the creation of rock n roll, back in 1929, during a legendary encounter at a Mississippi crossroad... ;) Some people might know the story? In any case, the song was well-received, so that was cool, too :)

I got me one of these puppies a few weeks ago and loving it.

Back when I played through my amp or in the past 10 years or so that I've been using headphone amps I haven't played with many effects. I've owned a few pedals over the years like a wah wah, grunge pedal, overdrive pedal, etc ,but but most were junk or or just hard to make sound good with my amp and I haven't messed with any in the past decade since I got headphone amps. They sometimes have some effects on them but aren't good and as with my old amp I mainly just play with various levels of distortion achieved through turning up the gain. But this little thing has just about any effect you can think of (multiple versions and clones of various popular pedals) and amps/cabinets and stuff to choose from. It sounds great and I've been able to create pedal boards to match lots of my favorite guitarists and match their tones really well, switch effects off and on, so it's a fun toy. It has lots of presets but I've mostly been making and playing with my own. And I can power it by hooking it up the the USB on the computer (or if I'm away from it with batteries or a plug) and when it's hooked up to the computer there's an app you can edit/adjust all your effects and stuff rather than using all the knobs on the pedal, which is more convenient.

Looks like you're about ready to lift of into space with that one, @NunbNuts :) That toy should be fun; very compact and stylish :D
