Missing accessory looks suspiciously like a small character who shall remain nameless. (yoda 2) On the other hand, it also looks like a trick of the light.

When you examine the light reflecting on the plastic 'holder' around the blaster and then on the space to the right, it sure makes it look like its a spot for a 'baby Yoda.' :)

BUT...it seems to me that if it WAS Grogu, the toy manufacturer would have given him special billing on the package given his popularity.

It would be more surprised if he was not in the show. So far, he has been the star of everything. Looks like they are developing his character to use maybe in future movies as an older character. Who knows.

Please no! But if you are following the leaks, then we probably already know what's missing here:

Little Leia has a droid which is described as the next Grogu.

What was sitting on the ground with him in the first trailer? I thought it was a water bottle or something.

that seems very likely, although I don’t know why they would bother to remove it if we glimpse it in the trailer.

Grogu feels like a long shot to me. I’m super excited to see how they fill in Grogu’s pre-Mando story, but this just doesn’t feel like the place.

A Tusken gaffi stick, carved and crafted during a stormy night, after a lizard entered his nose and made him high.

Imagine if it was actually the lizard that was included. The toy would immediately be recalled for spawning innumerable trips to the ER to remove an object stuck in the nasal cavity. :p

It's going to be a real thrill watching Ewan progress closer to Alec Guinness' performance.. one key difference was the intense zen master vibe Alec had.

Hopefully there's more seasons and we see that a bit more from Ewan.

Holy Bantha Blast!! You have buried the nail flush with the lid!! Kenobi deserves a scene where Ben goes all Enter The Dragon (now with Force-powers) on some Mercs/ Tuskens or Drunk Bastards from the Mos Eisley Cantina itching for a fight on the homestead!!

As a mirror to the scene where Plagueis survived the assassination attempt and force wrecked them all.

Like Vader in the hallway, with NO saber.

Wow!! They dropped that right at midnight!

Just WOW! Those first two episodes were amazing! No spoilers here but Ewan is amazing and having him reprise his Obi Wan in a SW entry that has more of a traditional SW aesthetic makes his performance even better. Great job setting up Obi Wan mindset and great job with coming up with a plausible reason to motivate him to get off the sidelines!

I don’t think I could be happier with these episodes and I had very high expectations/hopes to begin with!

Totally agree. The beauty of Debra Chow's first episode (haven't seen the second one yet) is the beautiful way it set the stage for the rest of the series. Ewan McGregor's acting was brilliant and the story that gets laid out is incredibly compelling.

I don't think its a spoiler to know that we'll see Tattooine again since that is where Obi-wan is residing in order to watch over Luke. But for all those fans who are 'tired' of seeing 'the same old same old' on this desert planet, Chow does a marvelous job of giving fans Tattooine scenes that are both gorgous and fascinating to check out. Early on, you feel like you're watching a feature film rather than a TV show.

I didn't quite know where to put this, so I'll put it here, behind a spoiler tag, since it discusses the show and spoilers.

As a personal experiment, I've followed supposed spoilers for this quite closely, taking notes etc. And...
...it is remarkable how accurate, in debth and detail, the makingstarwars.net spoilers have been for this show. They've revealed so many details and insight about this show over the last few months that I expected them to be full of bantha poodo, 'cause nobody should be able to know all those things about the series, but... they have been 100% accurate, almost frightenly accurate, in regards to the first 2 episodes. Nobody could be this lucky guessing and making stuff up. They have known and revealed names, character motivations, side character functions, story beats, shot compositions, the order of shots and beats, etc. etc. and it all blows my mind. I don't really know where I'm going with this, but it is at least interesting, I think.

For the record, that place is problematic, for sure... or rather, the dude running it is (I'm not going to get into it here, 'cause its all quite sad and yucky), and I don't condone it at all, but I do find it very interesting the wealth of information they've had on this show. Also, don't go digging into that place if you don't want to get spoiled for the upcoming episodes, for they have, AFAIR, laid it all out in detail.

    Weird.

I follow JW when I can... sometimes they go off on tangents, so haven't watched every show. I did watch them during TBOBF.

It will take some more time before I can watch this show. But did they ever explain somewhere why Owen didn't know who Obi Wan was and only knew the name Ben in the ot?
Had he meant never been told that name when they met?

How do you come to the conclusion that Owen didn't know? He does know who Obi-Wan is. He just doesn't want Luke to get in trouble. That's why Owen looks worried when Luke imidately thinks of Ben Kenobi when hearing of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Owen lied on purpose here.

In the Obi-Wan show there is a great little acting moment by Joel Edgerton:
    "Leave us alone, Ben".
He pronounced the name 'Ben' kinda sarcastically, because he knows that's not Obi-Wan's real name.
