Pretending, I never alluded to that… in terms of Star Wars, I’m pretty much sick of those glorifying the villains, but to each their own, you can enjoy the villains, nothing wrong with that… I guess I began to develop this sickness with Marvel’s Loki series.

I never got a chance to pick up the Old Republic series of books maybe I’m missing something, anywho, Star Wars definitely has great villians… I guess, I had a bad day at work dealing with clowns in the asylum… I apologize in advance, interesting thread carry on… I gotta find time to read Reven, Deceived, Fatal Alliance, and Annihilation… maybe I’ll be singing a different tune… maybe, HAHA :D

The original game is the absolute BEST version of Revan's story.... especially because you are the one crafting it along the way. The canon is fine, but the game was where Drew K's story shined brightest. And as for the asylum, tis a shame that this Universe does not have its own Cog Hive Seven.

To be fair, wasn't Vader a sympathetic character? Yes

I do think Star Wars has always had a bit of a “cool villain” problem. Let’s face it. As a kid, the villains like Maul and Vader were almost always cooler than Luke and Obi-Wan and the gang.

As an adult, with more attention to character, I’ve come to love the heroes. But as a kid I didn’t go that deep. As a kid it was just, “That guy has a cool mask! That guy has a double bladed saber!”

I like cool villains, but I think there’s a real danger of storytellers making villainy look more appealing than heroism.
