    Looks like this show is expected to cost $100 million for 10 episodes, or roughly $10 million an episode. Definitely much less than the price tag associated with Game of Thrones or even the Lord of the Rings TV show which looks to be about twice as much per episode. It will be interesting to see if all of the live action shows that come to the Disney service for Star Wars fall into a similar price range or if they eventually decide to really dive in and drop some serious money once the movies start to slow down. This post on MSW also adds some interesting views on potential story lines this show would focus around with the price point that came out.

    I just st did a quick google search & season 8 of Game of Throne came in at about $10 Million a episode so this budget seems about right. Plus it depends what they spend that budget on
    I also hope they get Nina Gold on board as the casting director.

    I read that the final 6 episodes of season 8 were closer to $15 million a piece and that was on the conservative side with people estimating the cost to be much higher. Favreau definitely isn't hurting for cash when it comes to his show, but it'll be interesting to see what the per episode cost ends up being as time goes on. I think Game of Thrones started at $6 million an episode during the first season and is now doubled that.

    Ok I see where I got my sums wrong. The overall budget was the about the same but the last season only had 6 episodes & I was basing the roughly $10 Million a episode on a 10 ESP season.

    I wonder how much they'll be able to do with this budget. Maybe if it'll go well and as time passes, we'll finally get Star Wars: Underworld.

    Considering we don't know exactly when the show takes place, she could be anywhere from mid-late 20's to mid-late 40's.

    LOL! Turns out the ending to Rebels was a joke and Sabine actually was just like "nah Ezra's doing fine! What I REALLY need is some transportation to the outer rim!"

    I'm excited about this show but I find myself because cautious in my old age.

    The cast and directors are fantastic. I'm sure the stories, VFX and action will be too.

    It is the locations that concern me. I want both real world and alien environments. And even with the show taking place in the fringes of civilisation there still needs to be urban settings and major cities. And space stations.

    There should be a lot of aliens too - not just in the background like in the movies but with important roles.
