The Lightsabers (4-9) fiercest enemy continues to be themselves as they hope to cut through the impossible-to-predict Vaders (7-6).


Sunday:

Jedi @ Greedos
The Jedi (6-7) are trying to avoid being wiped out from postseason lore as their divisional rival Greedos (8-5) look to turn the tables after years of defeat at the hands of the hooded ones.



Wampas @ Togrutas
If either team has visions of playoffs dancing in their heads a victory here will be crucial in this match-up between divisional foes, the Wampas (6-7) and Togrutas (6-7).



Yodas @ Royal Guards
A new [species unknown] commander appears to have invigorated the Yodas (4-8-1) as they turn their attention to the Royal Guards (7-6) who are hoping to avoid another disappointing loss.



Ewoks @ Androids
The great chieftain Mhommes leads his tribe of Ewoks (12-1) into battle against the furry ones' revered deities, the Androids (10-3).


Sunday Night:

Jawas @ Walkers
The Jawas (9-4) seem to be winning hearts and minds even in defeat but face another stiff test against the rigid Walkers (5-8).


Monday Night:

Droidekas @ Zabraks
The Droidekas (11-2) made a hyperspace jump from rolling to reeling and after two straight losses look to get back on track against the struggling Zabraks (2-10-1).

Also, I'm going to take a quick minute to touch on next week's schedule since it's Christmas... already!
I'm going to get the lineup of games posted on Monday so there's a little extra time to get picks in since we will all likely be busy with other holiday obligations. Games that are scheduled for Friday (Christmas Day), Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. There's going to be a lot of decent match-ups with plenty of playoff implications so there may be more than our traditional 7 games, who knows... and depending on how you pick that could be either a nice present under the Pickem tree or a ripe lump of coal.

The Togrutas (6-8) are no stranger to playing spoiler to the suddenly short-circuiting Androids (10-4).


Saturday Night:

Greedos @ Vaders
After disptching the Jedi from postseason contention, the Greedos (9-5) are out to prove they hold no bias against force-wielders as they take on the Vaders (7-7) in a must-win game for the Dark Lords.


Sunday:

Troopers @ Droidekas
The Troopers (10-4) have been quietly rolling while the Droidekas (11-3) have been loudly falling apart.



Dugs @ Gungans
The Dugs (4-10) will try to keep their lunch from being ruined by the Gungans (6-8) who hope for a leg up on the division instead of being turned to orange goo.



Tauntauns @ Lightsabers
While they both might smell bad on the outside this season, the future looks bright for both the Tauntauns (5-9) and the Lightsabers (5-9).



Yodas @ Rebels
The Yodas (4-9-1) need more than just to win out for a chance at postseason success, and their battle begins anew against the Rebels (5-9) who are fighting for the same.



Twi'leks @ Wattos
The crazy Twi's (9-5) are trying to shake off the embarrassment of the year after handing the stagnant X-Wings their first victory of the season, and they face a tough test against the rival Wattos (10-4) in a game that could decide the winner of the Eneffsee Western sector.



Sunday Night:

Mandalorians @ Hutts
The Mandalorians (10-4) are looking for a throne to claim and hope the Hutts (11-3) are ripe for slaying.


Monday Night:

Banthas @ Jedi
The Banthas (11-3) are rumbling while the Jedi (6-8) keep stumbling.

 

I like to think that playing the game was worth it for that opportunity alone.
