7:00 PM on Thursday night in 2D in Northern Minnesota. I wish I had an IMAX closer to me. On the weekend we will head down to the Twin Cities for an IMAX showing.

Something similar over here – I will be watching it the first time on Tuesday, the 20th at 8:00 p.m. CET. If the Babysitter situation works out that evening. Never got the chance to avoid 3D in this small town.

Edit: Luckily, the 21th is the first day of my xmas vacation.

Meeting with the girls, educate their husbands and boyfriends about Star Wars, I'm expecting a couple of Bothan questions, drink a lot and a friend drives us to the cinema. Tomorrow is gonna be awesome! Not so awesome that I have to go to work afterwards but who cares.

Have a good time, fortunately my boss knows I have to get off for a star wars movie so I always plan 3 months in advance.

I also blocked off Friday as a day-off for Rogue One months ago. Started my marathon a couple weeks back with Darth Plagueis then watched Ep 1, 2, selective Clone Wars episodes, Ep. 3 and now currently listening to Catalyst. Don't think there will be time to fit in Tarkin or much Rebels before Friday but we'll see. One thing I keyed in on was how Darth Plaguies impressed upon Palpatine the lesson of killing one to send a message to all. Luceno brought back that lesson in Catalyst when Krennic tells Galen that the Emperor wants to make an example of one world to send a message to all. Of course, Galen was mislead into thinking they power a world with sustainable energy when really the plan was to blow it up. Really looking forward to seeing how it all comes together in 3 days!!!

I could not get decent seats for the advance screening on the 15th, so I will be seeing it on the 16th at 8:15 pm at my local AMC. Reserved seating with nice coushy seats!

My mom took me to see the original trilogy in theaters when I was a kid (I was 5 yo in 1977), so now I buy my mom a ticket to all new Star Wars movies. Thursday night will be me, my mom and dad, my wife and my sister. We are seeing it in 2D. I saw TFA for the first time in 3D, and regretted it.

I want to take my kids to see it later, but based on reports of it being a "war film" I want to see it first to see if it will be ok to take the kids. They are 4, 6 and 7 years old. Anything too intense scares them.

I chose to see Rogue One first in 2D too. Seeing it on Friday with a large group!

I'll go and see it more times in 3D IMAX etc too. I'll also sneak a 2D viewing in a local independent cinema.

I'm gonna watch in 3D (just because in my theater 2D isn't even available) and of course the midnight premiere, because I just can't wait!
And since I'm in Central Europe (Germany) this means: Only 4,5 hours left!!!

I saw it in IMAX 3D last night as it was the only option for a midnight showing at my local cinema. Whilst I enjoyed the big screen and amazing sound I could have done without the 3D. Looking forward to seeing it in 2D later on today

As with TFA last year I did the midnight screening last night (well, early this morning) in 2D and then will see it again after Christmas in IMAX 3D. Works for me as so much to take in on first viewing plus it adds an extra dimension to the second viewing. If I do a third probably go for D-BOX which I have yet to try..
