    I'm trying to think who are the best side characters in each movie. I know I loved DJ from The Last Jedi and Babu Frik from The Rise of Skywalker. D-0 from TROS was good too. Who else are some great characters that didn't have major roles in each of the other movies?

    I've always though Biggs Darklighter was underrated, along with Wedge.

    Yeah, it's difficult to decide. I'm not sure DJ is a "side character" either to be honest; not Biggs (at least not in the ANH script)? Or Lobot or Ackbar or Sabé or Jengo :p

    Hmm... yeah.. perhaps the thread should be called "Best Minor Characters in Each Movie" rather than side characters!

    "Side" character as I understand it is synonymous with "supporting" character.

    So in, say, A New Hope, Luke is the MAIN character and Han, Leia, Kenobi and Chewie are the supporting/side characters! They support and facilitate Luke's journey.

    BUT... I want to pick R5 D4...

    Oh! And that guy who tries to sell the death sticks!
