I'm currently re-watching Firefly, and I cannot wait for Tudyk to return as K-2SO! The chances that I'm gonna love it are high, very high

Enfys Nest would be a nice bridge into this series.

As for other Rogue One characters? I'd definitely like to see some of the Rebel leadership make appearances - Bail Organa, Mon Mothma and General Dodonna. And in Cassian's own circle of intel / covert ops people? General Draven comes to mind, as well as Tivik who we saw in the Ring of Kafrene scene. And Melshi, of course!

I suppose some of these appearances are predicated on when the show takes place. Is he already in rebel intelligence by episode 1 or at least in the rebellion? Or is this show more about how he becomes a rebel?

    From Rogue One:

My guess is we'll quite likely get a flashback to that moment when he was "6 years old", but the vast majority of the show will take place when he's already in the Rebellion.

I think it would be Enfys Nest, and Edrio also might (hopefully) show up. Maybe Saw Gerrera gets mentioned?

Enfys nest would be really neat!

Wonder if there will be any familiar villians?

    Hope to see this soon.

@Pizza Time Agreed = one of the best K-2SO moments for me was in the novelization of Rogue One. The scene where he holds off the stormtroopers at the data vault switches to first person. The scene is told from his perspective, it is really cool as it shows the algorithms he runs through and decisions he makes.....

I voted for Ahsoka wasn't she involved in the Rebellion early as Fulcrum?

You know, even though I've never read Ahsoka's book yet (I should, as she's my favorite character), it looks like from the wiki timeline that she'd been working with Bail as early as 18BBY (waaaay earlier than I'd have expected).

Cassian Andor (much younger than Diego Luna who portrays him) would've been about 8 at that time- so definitely a child, and in fact an earlier participant than Ahsoka herself. In fact, if you take Cassian's words at face value, then we can assume that he's pretty much considered himself part of the fight since Order 66.

Ahsoka will serve as Fulcrum through at least as far as the fight on Malachor (3BBY), after which it's kind of unclear what she does for the rest of the GCW.

So, that's a period of about fifteen years (until Cassian is about 23, and Ahsoka is about 33) that the two could potentially be working together. And, added to that, it's likely that both of the would have been a Fulcrum simultaneously for some of that time.

That in mind, I'd imagine that it's quite likely that we'd see Ahsoka in the Cassian show, and perhaps even other members of the Ghosts as well- however, they'd likely be viewed as a separate team, with the Ghosts really only making cameos and perhaps Ahsoka accompanying Cassian on an episode or two for a Fulcrum teamup. If I had to guess, at least.

@cawatrooper Love your analysis here....if this comes to be then what an incredible period we will be in as SW fans. This series, if done well, along with Mandalorian could make watching TV as much or more fun than going to a SW movie....

This seems like the perfect vehicle to introduce Ahsoka into the live-action realm. The timeframe makes sense and she can doesn't have to have a starring role; instead she'd be a more cameo-type character (think early Rebels when she was Fulcrum or how Hondo was weaved in and out of CW). And from my point of view -- and let me preface this by saying I really liked R1 and the character of Cassian -- this series may need a little "juice" that CA can't provide by himself (K-2SO aside). I've read here on the boards that some view Cassian as a rather underwhelming focal point ... well if that's true, what better way to organically bring in familiar names, if only in cameo roles?

Anyway, just my 2 cents. I'm excited for this series. It's an era I love seeing fleshed out and I'm down for any number of different storylines and characters ... and Ahsoka certainly ranks high on that list!

BTW, I'm also totally down with seeing Hera Syndulla. She's top 5 on my favorite "outside the movies" characters.

Honestly, I hope the antagonists are anything but familiar, something that would reflect the variety of missions that he would be sent on throughout his brief spy career.

The more I think about it, the more I want to see Tivik again... I want to have some context to the horrible sacrifice that Cassian makes on Kafrene. They don't need to be best friends or anything, but it would be good to see some kind of context for all that :)

I don’t know why but i think Enfys Nest would fit in well. I don’t think any Jedi could fit into a series with Cassian based on what I observed of him and his surroundings in R1

I'm totally looking forward to this show, I think it's going to be great. But... I feel like it's odd to start filming a TV series that takes place before a movie that came out five years ago, now. Diego Luna was 34/35, I think, while filming Rogue One and is now 41. I know there's makeup and technology and he doesn't look much different, best I can tell. But time is only working against this production. It's probably unlikely, but what if this show lasts ten seasons? A fifty year old playing a 35 year old? I wish they had started making this show a long time ago. Not trying to be negative, just a thought I had. I plan on enjoying the crap out of this show!

I voted Nest but any of the Rebel leadership/pilots could pop in regularly Bail Organa, Mon Mothma, General Dodonna, General Nadine, Admiral Raddus, Admiral Ackbar, General Dummy from Rogue One, the chick that tells ion control to fire to allow the first transport to get away, General Rieekan, young Wedge, Saw Guererra, Red and Gold Leader, maybe Biggs all work to varying degrees.

Artoo could help Andor convert K2SO.
